        uncle Tom,

You are trying to excuse the crimes committed against Native Americans and Blacks.

The nation was secular when it was founded on stolen land

the use of the term 'uncle tom' in a negative sense, originated from white people. such a shame that malcolm x chose to use this term against his own people.

            Lol,

No it did not , it was used to describe and mock slave like mentality

They liked slaves to be slaves

And they actually hate the term

It can be used on any slave like person

Why are you so riled up?

What are you talking about. The term is from a novel "Uncle Toms Cabin" by Stowe. It was never used by white people in a negative sense. It was mostly used by black people in America towards other black people.

That's true, I think Malcom X and Muhammad Ali used the term very frequently in that era.

Ali called many boxers "white mans negroe" to taunt them

Tom was the character that was beaten to death by his white master because he refused to give inforamtion about a couple of black female slaves who had escaped. The reason people use the term "uncle tom" is because he did not have the courage as the other black women to want freedom. Instead he stayed on the plantation and supplied the soldiers that kept him enslaved.

stowe was a christian abolisionist.the novel was inspired by a slave, josiah henson, who escaped to canada. he worked and bought land there and started a settlement for other fugitive slaves. it became a financially viable settlement. he was a preacher and a militery officer.
other white people made 'uncle tom' into the negative version with minstrels and writings.
it appears that the black people have then taken on the negative version and now ghundal.
we must always follow the trends and never question or use our minds

if a person has been captured, tortured, enslaved and misreated all his life, what do you expect? some peoples will is broken by these treatments. we don't know these peoples lives and pain.
some people on here make this 'uncle tom' type judgement on poor people in afghanistan, who join the army there, or become interpreters, while they sit in comfort in america ot somewhere else in the west. i find these judgements, when one doesn't know the others life situation, to be unjustified and selfish.
