Can Pakistan & Afghanistan Unite?

pakanjabis see a beautiful country, with immense untapped resources, and dream of having it.
i rather see afghan people in war, defending itself from foreigners and their plans than have it turn into a pakistan.
remember pakistan is the 8th most populated country in the world, more than russia!!!

only way is restitution of afghan land minus non-pashtuns.

We should keep good relations with both Muslim and Non Muslim countries however one must not do wishful thinking and assume that Muslim unity will save Afghanistan, we do not live in the middle ages and even if we did peoples and nations always look to their own interests.

Saudis work against their own Muslims in Libya and Iran works against its own Muslims in Iraq.

We live in a era of nation building and interests.

Handing Afghanistan over in the name of Muslim unity will only make more vulnerable to Punjabs dominance over us.

Afghanistan would be turned into a province which would be disasterous for the future of the Pashtuns.

If you Pakistanis cant even unite the Turi and the Bangash tribes under the name of Islam then how the hell are you going to unite with every Muslim.

You are doing wishful thinking. There were many examples of Muslim unity and they broke because of cultural differences and regional interests.

You cant just sit there and support something that is not natural.

Afghanistan has its interests and so does Pakistan. Islam is a political tool for Pakistan to weaken Afghanistan and control its masses.

Who the hell would want to unite under a Religion in this time and era?

If Muslims themselves are plagued with sectarianism and violence such as Sunni vs shia, Pir vs Wahabi and Qadiyani vs Salafi.

I would never want to align myself with any Religion to better my peoples living standards and future.

A alliance with Pakistan is like jumping into a black hole.

If Pakistan reformed its society, produced great intellectual personalities, gave its minorities freedom and control on its resources, promoted other languages besides Urdu, told America and Arab world to back off Afghanistan during the Soviet luring, and stood side by side with the Afghan people to reform its society, suppress Islamist sentiments and movements, work together to trade and educate its peoples, then I wouldnt have a problem with Pakistan however Pakistan has done the total opposite, Pakistanis such as Baloch, Pashtun and Sindhis I have no problem with, I find the Sindhis to be one of the most socialistic and tolerant civilisations in the world, they are one hell of a great people, who are kind and even though a lot of Pashtuns in their region cause many problems for them such as fighting, smuggling etc, still no Sindhi has complained and our people refer to them as Kwatanyun and insult them on their own land.

The reason why I dislike Pakistan is not because of its races or racial groups or if its black or white, its because Pakistan has given birth to a Islamist virus that will take decades to recover from, and Pakistan planned it all out and used Afghanistan as its experiment.

Its not "halika", its "halaka". I am from a place where muslims live, islam is practically followed, and people go to mosques for 5 times prayers....unlike your province where only on friday mosques are given attention.
Muslim world should be strong and united, on style of european union...these are my thoughts on unity of muslims, they dont need to be in one country.

They go to mosques only at friday and are not practical in islam, but would try to teach you islam. They would talk of islamic brotherhood and umat-e-muslima and would tell you to fear allah when you would say that i am a proud pashtun...i know about "pathans" of attock, they are thorougly punjabized and are like hinkowans of hazara.

I'm lovin reading these comments. It makes me angry, and happy at tha same time. I'm losing ma mind here. I didn't know we (Pakhtuns) were such a racist race. I said on ma introduction, that I wouldn't tolerate any BS, and downtalk, and I stick by ma words. I'm sticking tha middle finger up 2 Pashtun Forum. I hope u admins r proud ov tha atmosphere here, and all tha ****in hate. You make ma blood boil, and I've lost some respect, and love for ma pakhtuns.
