pakistan's politics doesn't concern me so i don't know much about it but it doesn't take much for one not to make stupid remarks in a matter that they know nothing about. traditionally pakistani women wear their scarves the way she wore hers. it's very unlikely for a female politician to base the influence by which she attracts her followers on the spot where she places her scarf over her head. from an islamic point of view, she shouldn't have been where she was to begin with. she was supposed to" stay home, do the dishes and cook" for her husband. obviously being perceived as a bibi haji was not a priority on her list.
