I don't know why afghans are cheering. It will only effect ordinary afghans wanting to visit Pakistan for medical treatment, now that the border crossings are permanently closed (lol) how will ordinary afghans feed themselves considering 80% of there food comes from Pakistan. Think of the poor.

You can see many people in this thread from the original poster on through are arguing idiotic political agendas and do not have the capability of seeing the struggles or views of common people. Their whole world is Taliban... NATO... USA... CNN... Al Jazeera... BBC... this political party.... that political party...
Beware of anyone that seems unusually obsessed with politics and man made ideologies.

im more than ok with the afghans cheering up these deaths bro, i mean if these are the kind of morals left in the society there then sure laugh it up...It doesnt matter to Pakistan if it receives any sympathy from afghans or not, what should matter to our government is that this blood is on their hands

anyways my point was that these boys were pashtuns, it wouldn't even make sense for you guys to be so cheerful even if these were punjabis..a human being is a human being..but the jiggles that the elders (A tribal elder! there was actually a statement from a kunar tribal elder) from kunar seem to be doing over this shows how far this pashtun brotherhood of theirs goes

it was disturbing to read what sanman posted, cuz it shows a society with some serious ethical dilemmas

Never ever equate a bunch of "Internet Western Afghans" to Afghans living in Afghanistan, especially Pashtuns, who have suffered so much, and yet will continue to prevail.

These Fake Afghans do not care one whit about the thousands of Afghans who have been killed by US airstrikes and night raids.

The rural Afghan masses (the majority) are opposed to Pakistan for their continued support of the US war and occupation. These fake western Afghans in fact want Pakistan to continue to support the US war and occupation of Afghanistan. They reflect the losers who ran to the West after their Communist heroes failed.

I have met Secular pro US war Pakistanis. They support the war and also the drone attacks. These types support war on the region. Take zardari and Hussain haqqani, they wanted to increase rather then end support for the US war and occupation of Afghanistan. They also wanted US to occupy Waziristan and other parts too. These people exist everywhere

Why is what I posted disturbing? Those Paki troops are posted on the British-created Durand Line, which you should not be supporting. Pakis support the Durand Line because they want to divide and rule Pashtuns. If the Paki posts along the fake Durand Line are all destroyed, then I think this is a good thing.

As for UnknownPakjabiPrince, he of course will support his Pakjabi masters, while pretending to stand up for Pashtuns. He only stands up for slavery, while promoting backwardness for Pashtuns, so that they can be better slaves to the Pakjabis.

sanman its disturbing cuz its not right for anyone to be happy about someone's death like that..but then again i dont think you would understand

These boys were pashtuns defending that "imaginary line" and the strongest condemnation has come from within Pakhtunkhwa, this kind of thing is actually only going to create hostilities between tribes across the border

No one needs Afghans sypmpathis on this issue. These were soldiers and they are always ready to kill or to be killed, so its not giving me some emotional trauma.
NATO or more precisely US has killed hundreds of innocent civilians in FATA through drones and they have even infilterated into waziristan to target militants without taking permission from Pakistan...But there was always criminal silence. But now that army soldiers are killed, every pakistani is talking of ghairat and revenge...Double standards

A common Afghan is worried about bread, clothes, house, health etc and these asylum seekers Afghans of West have too much time to spend on discussing, durand line, loy afghanistan and other such non-sense.

Everyone knows that ther term "paki" is really a sort of code word used in this war to support a heavy handed war on Pashtuns. It is dishonest too pretend that this "hatred" is directed at a state. These fake Afghans say thing like you "pakjabi" because they hate Pashtuns and Pashtun culture but they understand they can't state it too often, so they use paki as substitute word.

They try to deny the Afghans rights to freedom from occupation by alluding opposition to occupation and war as foreign

It's like saying the Egyptian uprising has nothing to do with Egyptians

                          Talal,
The death of any human should not be happily cherished. However, where were you when the same Pak Army was firing rockets at innocent civilians in Kunar? Are Afghans not humans? I did not see any Pakistani, or you expressing sympathy for them. However, when Pak Army get's the short end of the stick it's a problem? It's all of a sudden a time to seek revenge? The Pakistani government made billions for allowing the US to bomb innocent Pashtuns. Now all of a sudden Pakistan wants to claim 'our Sovereignty is not being respected'. Psh, sovereignty. It's funny because now, all of a sudden, you have some mickey-mouse actors protesting about the death of 24 soldiers? Why weren't they protesting for the past decade when innocent Pashtuns were getting bombarded directly with supplies coming from Karachi to be precise? Let's not impose double standards here, the minute some Faujis of Pak Army dies it's a big problem. But for the past decade when my brothers were dying in Fata and Waziristan, it was okay as long as the Punjabi elite was getting paid for it? Drone attacks on Pashtuns it's okay, but when a dozen soldiers die it's unacceptable?

Pashtuns are well aware of the duplicity of GHQ, and let's not use them against each other with the whole "Where is the brotherhood now?". The same people of the same blood and culture have been dying for the past decade and both sides are of the imaginary line are well aware this established fact. Just because some soldiers are dead doesn't mean every Pashtun should begin to cry a river. Hypocrisy at it's best. The reason, I'd assume, why most Afghans don't give a rat's ass is because it's been happening to them for 3 decades, with Pakistani support and through Pakistani airspace. Why should one be symapthetic to such a nation that is known worldwide for using terrorism and Islam as it's foreign policy?

May Allah bless the souls of those now dead. Please refrain from deciding the fate of those dead.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

I have posted articles, videos, news about the thousands of Afghans who have been killed by US airstrikes and night raids.

I think some are selective in deaths they condemn

There is only one reason to oppose Pakistan and that is for its support for the US war. It is considered logically and morally wrong, The US-Pak alliance has been the biggest obstacle to peace in the region, and peace and independence will prevail once it is over

Logically and by Islamic standards, Pakistan's cooperation in this war is wrong and unacceptable on all levels. Imran is right to force the end of this and to ask foreign forces to exit the region. This war is inhumane. Supporting this war is inhumane. forcing it to an end is the best way forward for independence and peace in Afghanistan

There is no future for this Karzai government which is hated by the people for its continued support for war

Where were your morals when you governmnt JOINED with an Infidel Imperialist United STates to occupy Afghan Soil and lead to the deaths of Afghans and Pashtuns all around?
