Those who intentionally attempt to not understand the truth will use any excuse to support their beliefs, logical or illogical. Conspiracy theorists prefer complex mysteries over simple truths, and try to find mystery where none exists. Accusing a country that has fought and paid many of the sacrifices in the war against terrorism, of being the supporter of the same terrorism is an absurd allegation. What Mr. Barakzai Abdali fails to understand is that, 10 years ago, our nation was attacked by these terrorists, which killed more than 3000 innocent people belonging to different nationalities and religions. From the beginning of the war against terrorism, the U.S. has been one of the leading countries in this fight. Moreover, we have lost many men and women in this fight. With all these realities on the table, conspiracy theorists are still not convinced and continue to live in denial. Regarding the night operations, we have said this before; we understand the concerns regarding the jointly conducted night operations. Our commanders on the ground have been taking strong measures to avoid civilian casualties while conducting these night operations against insurgents. In fact, more than 80% of our night operations end up without a single shot being fired. We are also aware from experience that operations conducted at night are an essential component of counter insurgency, due to the fact that the most effective time for the insurgents to conduct their operations and movement is at night time. Our night operations often result in advantageous effects in disrupting and defeating some of the most dangerous insurgent groups. Most importantly dear readers, every night operation has an Afghan component integrated throughout the process, both in planning and approval and it is either partnered or, in most instances, they are conducted unilaterally by Afghans.
Final thing is that the work by Dr. Pape doesnt allege that the US military goes and organize the suicide bombings. The reason your superiors are listening to him is that his thesis posits that your occupation presence causes this insane action and set of asymmetric responses to occur as a RESULT of your occupation in areas. How you read that I was alleging the US military actually conducted this campaign just shows me that your literacy level is challenged and you choose what you want to hear.

Your own military hero, Matt Hoh confirms this in his own work:

"So we create a government that rewards one side and excludes the other. So there are cracks in the political order we created. This gets much worse in 2005 or 2006, when we decided extend the government’s power into southern and eastern Pashtun areas. At the same time, various elements of the Taliban and other insurgent factions had strengthened and returned into parts of Afghanistan. The push went badly, since villagers rebelled, turning to the Taliban to get rid of the outsiders. And so the cycle began. We add more troops, which strengthens the Taliban and weakens support for the government. Suicide attacks, IEDs, military and civilian dead or wounded—all rise commensuratelywith eachincrease in foreign troop or Afghan government presence. We misunderstand many ofthecauses of support for the Taliban. They didn’t wear sandwich boards or hand out pamphlets to win people. They are the Pashtuns. Most don’t want to rule the country. They just want to get rid of the occupiers."

So now Mr. Noorzai, is Mr Hoh, a renowned US veteran, in on the conspiracy club???? Do he, Dr Pape and I write each other conspiratorial letters to organize conspiracies like this???

Furthermore, the region appears to have united against foreign intervention and meddling (SCO summit). This foreign intervention started in 1953 when the US backed a coup against Mossadeq and installed the Shah. Mossadeq was publicly elected and supported by the Iranian nation, but due to OIL, the US started interfering. He nationalized the OIL. To this day, the Iranian nation has done quite well without foreign intervention. The Iranian revolution commenced and brought down the Shah. In retaliation, the US fully backed Sadaam Hussein with arms and ammunition to wage a war against Iran. Iraq was defeated. Iran contra reveals how the US backed both sides secretly to pro-long the war for their own interests.

This did not start on 9/11

US intervention in the region since 1953 created instability, and thus is the sole barrier to peace and prosperity in the region and civilized world.
Afghans do not want war and occupation. Is this not clear? War supporters do not want to accept that the Afghan people are opposed to the occupation of their homeland, regardless of what political philosophy they follow."Afghans oppose permanent US bases" PressTV - Afghans oppose permanent US bases

Hence, there is no doubt that the Afghan nation is standing firm against the foreign occupation of their land. Professors and Afghans from all walks of life have held multiple demonstrations against foreign occupation and the war on their land. The Afghan Democratic Socialist party has now made their position very clear.

A group of FAILED Western lowly educated expats like Karzai and Spanta have no support from the people, and are in fact resented from every corner of Afghanistan. In fact, as this war ends, I am sure charges will be filed in the international courts to bring these criminals to justice. Karzai, himself, personally has supported the war which is complete against the resentment of foreign occupation voiced by the Afghan people

According to ISAF data , they have purposely been targeting civilians to put pressure on other Afghans. This is their own admission. There appears to be no shame now in admitting this.US night raids killed 1,500 Afghan civilians
By Gareth Porter Asia Times Online :: US night raids killed 1,500 Afghan civilians

The SCO summit is a sure sign of the regional unity and peace that will soon commence, and there is nothing that can be done when the region is united to end war, and put an end to foreign aggression and meddling. In the name of peace and prosperity, the region thwarted Western designs against Central and South Asia at the US choreographed Istanbul summit, and instead Iran, Pakistan, China, and Russia united against foreign meddling in the region. The writing is clearly on the wall. "US's post-2014 Afghan agenda falters" Asia Times Online :: US's post-2014 Afghan agenda falters

"Moscow came up with its own counterproposal in the shape of a statement of principles of regional cooperation listing political, economic and other measures to build confidence and encourage cooperation among the countries neighboring Afghanistan. The Russian approach found favor with China, Pakistan and Iran, and being unexceptional in any case, it gained traction and ultimately"

"Pakistan's contention is that Afghanistan's neighboring countries could at best have a supportive role in ensuring the peace, security and territorial integrity of that country"

Bottom line is OIL companies should buy oil at whatever price OPEC deems it to be otherwise perhaps the day will come when OIL will be at $1000 per barrel.

This is not hypothetical thinking when you consider that no one would have thought that the Western backed tyrant Hosni Mubarak would be sitting behind bars like the dog he is.
