    Swat Taliban claim Timergara blast

    Bureau report
    Friday, April 09, 2010

PESHAWAR: A spokesman for the Swat Taliban on Thursday claimed responsibility for all the bomb attacks in Malakand Division and warned that the Awami National Party (ANP) gatherings would be attacked as the party was their major enemy after having launched and backed military operations against them.

Noor Hashim Ahrabi, the new spokesman for Swat chapter of the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), phoned The News from an undisclosed location and claimed responsibility for the recent suicide bombing at the ANP rally in Timergara in Dir Lower district in which around 50 participants celebrating the renaming of NWFP as Khyber-Pakhtoonkhwa were killed. He claimed that the recent bombings and attacks in Swat and elsewhere in Malakand region were also carried out by Taliban members.

Ahrabi, who replaced Salman as Swat Taliban spokesman and spoke to the media after a long time, asked the people to stay away from the ANP meetings to avoid harm as these were a target for the Taliban. He also advised the people to stay away from the security forces and law-enforcement agencies and government installations as they could be attacked by Taliban any time. He threatened that all the killings of militants in Swat and elsewhere by the military would be avenged.

The spokesman also advised people in Swat not to purchase land owned by the Khans as the Taliban had a dispute with these landlords and they would be made accountable at the opportune time. In reply to a question, he claimed Maulana Fazlullah was safe and sound and present in a secure area.

I bet nobody here even remembers this, our people are killed constantly by these monsters, and Pakistan doesnt seem to help them, when they only intervene when their interests are in danger, otherwise, our own people are left for the wolves

Har cha che da kar keri ye khudai de gharq ki. shahidan di da be gonah khalq.

Anyway the loser is pashtun wether Taliban or ANP, we are being made to fight each other in the name of secular vs religious. Its all bull****, ISI is playing double game on us and supporting both sides to keep pashtuns backward and in constant state of war.
Foreign countries used the same tactic in Iran-Iraq war where they were supporting both sides to kill each other. We people are truly stupid.

True, then why ANP is hiding in ISI's cover and praising the army day and night ?
Is ANP not the right hand of isi and army ?

I think we deserve all this. Once upon a time we Pashtuns/Afghans invaded India and ruled/looted them until 1947 when we divided them and all this was in the name of Islam. We cant forget that in 1947 a million of Muslims, Hindus were killed in the partition. But nature takes revenge itself, and when Indians (e.g Gen. Zia) became the rulers, Afghans were killed the same way in millions in the name of Islam and are still killed and in foreseeable time they will be killed

Politics is very complicated. I don't hav proper knowledge on how corrupt ANP is. Maybe ANP is supporting the army because they don't like the religious groups. From what I know, ANP seems to be useless at doing anything positive and only talk big but they seem to have some support in Northern KPK and at least its leaders are pashtuns eventhough they might be sellouts. ANP needs a good honest pashtun leader who has pashtun people's intrest at heart. Achakzai saib seems to be a better candidate than Asfandyar.
My point is we shouldn't turn to outsiders such as army and ISI to solve our problems but we should do it ourselves. Unfortunately there are people who have become so corrupt that they side with the devil himself so they can defeat their enemy. In the long run all it does is create more hatred between pashtuns who want different things.
Pukhtana must learn to put their differences aside and learn to work together otherwise we will be forever fighting and killing each other and fighting other people's wars.
