another funny thing a about this party is they dont wear pashtun attire/clothes such as for women Afghani clothes and for men headwear such as pakol and patkey.
i havent seen one of them with a patkey (pride of pukhtano).

why not ,than why do they call themselves pashtun "nationalists" when they dont even uphold pashtun culture.

you are right about pekhawer,if they see someone with a patkey in pekhawer they might arrest them and call them terrorist.

Its not just about ANP.. pashtuns of these regions dont wear patkey..though pakol is common.

Pashtuns of South KP, FATA and balochistan are more traditional and people there wear patkey.

The districts north of kohat tunnel belong to north KP where kheen dialect is spoken. Peshawer, nowshera, mardan, charsada, swabi, swat, dir, malakand, batagram are in north KP...They share more or less common dialect and traditions...

Achakzai and all the other ANPites and why they will forever remain insignificant.

Supported the Soviet war in Afghanistan

Today, support the US war in Afghanistan

So, is it no wonder why they are insignificant?

May be ANPites were against Pakistan interferance in Afghanistan during 80s and they got labeled as supporters of russian invasion. i would check about their stance on russian invasion.
