The plain thing is, writhing in humuliation at the hands of Isreal, every Arab is out to make emotional appeals in the name of Islam to form a united Muslim front against Isreal to regain Arab glory and pride...I can recognize the Arab national chicanery disguised as Islam...Obviously, camels damn care if millions of Pashtuns are killed as long as the dream of winning back the Arab glory is realised.

I have seen and interacted with enough Arabs and reached the conclusion that they togethor with South Asian Muslims are the people one should keep away from.

I also know that Arabs are the most racist people amongst Muslims that think that they have some intrinsic superiority.

A lot of secularists claiming to be "Pashtuns" (possibly Hindkos or something else like atheist Maseed) are frustrated and angry that Pashtun culture is conservative, nothing to do with Islam as Pashtunwali predates Islam and was always patriarchal.

However due to their inability to contain their frustration and fury, they need to find a scapegoat to vent their anger. The challenges Pashtuns face are issues with Punjabis/Pakistanis, non-Pashtuns in Afghanistan and differing ideologies, groups amongst Pashtuns themselves.

The Deobandi school of thought of the Taliban has nothing to do with Arabs and is Indian in origin, and promoted by Pakistan.

These cruel and evil secularists e.g. Kafir Maseed have even started insulting Bangladeshis, when Bangladesh has absolutely 0 to do with Pashtun issues. We do not even have a border whereas even Turkmenistan has a border with Afghanistan. Even if Arab states have played a hugely infuential role in Pashtunkhwa (which they haven't) that would only be a few states, and even then the governments not the people. I think in some respects the bigger question that this raises is what do we as a community wish to prioritise.

From an Islamic perspective, there is an inherent conflict between Pashtoon Nationalism and Islam, and yet there are many who are both led by a nationalist cause and who are equally deeply committed Muslims.

That form of Nationalism despite the paradox turns up everywhere - in Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh etc. People somehow compromise the discrepancy.

The Arabs have their own version of it, and arguably their version of Islam plus Nationalism is the one example of Islamic Nationalism that has gone beyond their own lands. The intellectual backlash - even Mashar Achakzai is saying this now - is the rejection of the recent foreign (Arab and Central Asian) presence in the heart of the Pashtoon belt that has cause more grief than gain.

From a historic perspective it's not the same as racism, since by all accounts many Arabs were Pashtoonised from the time of the first Islamic conquest. From where we stand right now, I guess we will need to learn to accept that we have some deeply religious people amongst us and some some less so. I think that if we step back it can be argued that both sides are influenced by people outside the community. The point about Pashtoon unity is realising this and knowing that there are people on the outside who benefit to see these polar opposites at loggerheads.

Race and religion are two different things, Pashtuns have been on this earth before Islam was formally established... Not all pashtuns are muslim though the bast majority are... even then not all the beliefs are the same... 5-10% of Pashtuns are Itna Ashariya Shia, some are athiest some others etc... though to paint arabs as is mentioned here is retarded...
