Read my post again. I said they were of Jewish descent, just like Lenin.

Wasn't Islam the state religion there since 1980? And why is al-Baraedi so popular now over there?

They played a very insignificant role in the revolution. And they're hardly the Al-Qaeda people like you want them to be. They're more JUI and JI (Pakistani religious parties) than they are Hamas or Hezbollah.

22% of the people polled in Tunisia said they'd vote for Nahda. That's hardly being a great favorite. Even then, Nahda believes in democracy, pluralism, dialogue with the West and it does not want Taliban-like laws or Jihad against the West. It describes itself as a moderate party. Why are you supporting a moderate party? Have you gone soft?

The Muslim Brotherhood are against the Taliban and condemn their actions

Dr. Muhammad Habib, 1st MB Deputy-Chairman, has called Taliban to free all the Koreans the movement captivated earlier.

"Muslim Brotherhood absolutely opposes such kidnaps, considering them anti-Islamic" Dr. Habib in his statement to ikhwanweb,

Dr. Habib confirmed that Islamic Shari"ah rates non-combatant foreigners as covenanted, and should be treated on this basis, regardless the imperialistic intentions of their governments.
The MUslim Brotherhood are educated and rational; so we can see their idea of Shari'ah is much different and more well balanced than the Taliban

Dr. Mohamed Morsy, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) Executive Bureau, denied claims reported by the German newspaper, Der Spiegel, that Ayman Al-Zawahiri, Al-Qaeda"s second-in-command, has ever been a Muslim Brotherhood member.

Dr. Ayman Al-Zawahiri has never been affiliated to the Muslim Brotherhood group as an organization and ideology, said Morsy in statements to Ikhwanweb.

"The Muslim Brotherhood"s ideology shuns violence and the movement has never practiced it. on the contrary we have been always adopting peaceful means for change", said Morsy.

All Islamic parties were banned. You call that a country with Islam as state religion ? It was a joke and only brainwashed people like you would fall into this and see this seriously. According to the new constitution of Egypt, any new legislation must at least implicitly agree with Islamic law. And al Baredi is far from being as popular as MB.

They actually played a great role in the revolution but did not come out publicly because they feared to not get the support from the west. The same reason why Libyan jihadists fought under the flag of democracy. But no one except fools are fooled.

There are 112 political parties in Tunisia. 22% is the relative majority so An Nahada are by far the great favorites.

and those Libyan Jihadis were helped by NATO , the same group occupying Afghanistan now.

Libyan dreams and NATO's new model 'revolution' - China.org.cn

When an uprising in Libya's eastern city of Benghazi swept away Gaddafi's local apparatus of power, the gleeful cheers in Western capitals indicated that something is rotten in the state of this particular 'revolution'. The fact that the rebel flag was that of the old monarchy was indicative of the reactionary nature of this 'rebellion'. Western secret services and military forces immediately opened lines of communication with the 'rebel base'. Western arms and money flowed to the Libyan rebels despite austerity at home. The rebels were declared to be the legitimate government and provided with all their needs.

Lenin wasn't Jewish either. And even if he were, who cares?

And if you really want the world to believe that the Arab spring was not about democracy and freedom but about the introduction of strict Shariah law, totalitarian theocratic rule and global Jihad then you must provide better evidence for it than just a couple of articles. The Muslim Brotherhood is not Hamas or Hezbollah.

And many Muslims pray five times a day and, at the same time, do not support totalitarian theocratic rule. A prime example of such a man was Bachaa Khan (read about him on Wikipedia). He was a pious, practicing Muslim but, at the same time, he was an outspoken critic of theocratic rule.
