  • Taliban have safe havens in Pakistan: Karzai

Since the Taliban have sanctuaries in Pakistan, it was important to discuss the issue with Islamabad to have peace and stability in Afghanistan, the Presidential Palace said.
Addressing the National Ulema Council late on Friday, President Hamid Karzai said the only way to bring peace to Afghanistan was to talk to the Pakistani government, a statement from the president's office said.
Peace parleys with the insurgents, supported by Pakistan, would be meaningless as long as Islamabad did no lend its weight to the reconciliation effort, Karzai said. "Burhanuddin Rabbani, the chairman of High Peace Council, laid down his life for the cause of peace."
The Ulema Council extended condolences to the bereaved family and relatives of Rabbani and condemned his assassination. They also issued a declaration, calling for a new approach to peace and stability to the country. It should be determined who to make peace with.
"Tribal elders, religious scholars, children, women, students and civilians are killed in blasts and suicide attacks every day, causing hatred and disgust among the people," the declaration said.
Jihadi leaders told the president the Taliban were not independent in decision making, and that they played into the hands of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).The Afghan government, therefore, must talk to Pakistan to resolve the issue, they insisted.

Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

There are many who say Cia created taliban lol.
But the fact is that every party in this game had their own motives and all of them achieved their own goals and used each other as well.

it tooks karzai 10years to know who control talibans,,
Imagine if ustad rabani not killed karzai would never know who control talibs.
He is the worst and weak leader afghanistan ever had in its history.
                  even worst then ,,,shah shujah,,.
He knows the links between talibans and pakistan but for more then 10 years he never had the courage to speak out the truth.
Now he is pushed by some in kabul to stand up or ready to get dumped.
This is what happen when others imposed leaders from their own countries on others.Karzai never defended the afghans and spacailly pashtuns.

i saw a video on the think tank, 'foreign policy initative', website, where 3 people were giving their opinions on reprimanding pakistan and holding back financial aid, and one of them suggested that america definitely needs permanent bases in afghanistan, to keep an eye on pakistan. so this is how some of the americans will be thinking.

US creating the ground to stay in the region for its stratigic interests.
Ustad Rabani opposed the US bases in afghanistan.
afghans would never like US bases in their country.
With help of ,,isi,,US spend 10 yesrs in the region but failed and defeated.
To stop pakistan from interfaring in afghans affairs there are other ways to do it.Where was US in the 90s when pakistan, iran and russia created the groups among afghans to fight eachother?
I swear it is stratigic war on pashtun soil and i must say the US,pakistan and others will fail for sure.
Afghanistan is belong to afghans and they the right to decide their future.

Why US did,nt help in building strong afghan army with modren weapon?
what they did to help afghanistan to stand on its own for trade ?
why they imposed the rule of minority on majority ?
pashtuns make up more then 60% of the total afghan papulation US during their stay try everything to cut that number of pashtuns and make them minority.
Pakistan is like a daughter of US and british and wallah these punjabis, sindis will stop interferance if the these powers forced them to do so.
Also if india helping in rebuilding afghanistan more then welcome but both parties (pakistan and india) should fight eachother on its eastren border not on afghan soil.

                          US is fully exposed now.
With corrupt warlords and leaders how long they will extend their stay.
Even ,,isi,,is exposed to every single person in pashtukhwa .

After ,,isi,, sign deal with blackwater thousands of pashtuns got killed, mosques bombed, pashtun heros bombed in graves.
People on the streets of pashtunkhwa talk openly on the blackwater and isi relation.
They even bought lands in pashtunkhwa with help ,,isi,, and pakistani govt to kill more pashtuns for its stratigic interests.
As far the concern of pakistani govt come on,they are created to serve the west and they will untill last breath.
The people inside pakistan hate its govt and even its creation.
