    Sheenkay,
If anyone trolls, or wishes to turn every serious thread into a circus show, we will ban them. This isn't a playground. Sorry sis, but if an Admin banned one of your buddies, that was the reason.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

      my approach is a reaction.
If I attack Kunar, you shouldn't insult me. You ask me why, and constructively criticize me. The minute you begin with the Porki nonsense, you scare people away, cause they don't want to be looted of their ezzat. It's as simple as that. Be respectful, and people will respect you. If someone is blatantly insulting Kunar, you report it. You don't retaliate. If someone says Kunar this, that, etc. You refute what they say, and demand for evidence. Sort of like a think tank style discussion. We shouldn't be searching for curses to use.

You see. DaZahroJaam made a serious comment, and you already have someone posting nonsense like 'Ahem, ahem'. I agree with DZJ. Even though she does not need my approval. I don't mean to single anone out, but a problem does exist, and we will eradicate it. Even if that means banning everyone, and simply allowing our threads to be archived.

Graveyard of Empires. You have contributed tremendously to our community. No denial in that. Don't be silly now. We all need to simply change our approach. I even included myself in that steep generalization.

LOL listen, not everyone is the type to discuss politics. some people might avoid it because they dont enjoy debating or they might not know enough to speak about the topic. I personally enjoy reading the political threads around here and i learn a lot of course, but i dont get involved in the discussions... just because i dont want to :S it's not like i ignore the matters all together lol i just dont discuss it in public so for anyone who thinks us members who dont post in politics are wasting our time or our minds please dont be judgmental
And i bring old threads back because this forum cannot solely be politics. it needs to have some space to breath...

And you are wrong for doing that. By doing that, you are benefitting them. They will easily pose as scapegoats, and void your entire argument.

Should you have a problem with Afghanistan or Pakistan, you shouldn't attack them. You professionally discuss the topic on hand. You are our brother, the same way Shehbaz is our brother. If you feel as if Shehbaz has deviated, follow Tor_Khan or Levanaye Zalmayes approach. They bring facts to the table, and don't resort to name calling. Usually when members get banned, they ban themselves. They end up shooting themselves in the foot with dirty language.

                            I agree.

Main reasons personally I am not too involved in Politics here is that I either do not posses enough knowledge on a matter as well as my dislike for getting involved in protracted discussions, neither do I have the time for that.

For that reason I am still politically active by posting articles etc every now and then but I let everyone else talk about it.

If someone is not posting in the Political threads it does not mean they are not politically aware. People learn from discussions and perhaps when they feel comfortable enough they will take part as well.

We are all here to learn. Keep the quality of the discussions high (as few personal attacks as possible) and you can expect to see more people involved.
