  • Why are so many PFers not active in relevant threads?

i see alot of PFers (overmajority) only active in random thoughts or threads about what have purchased lately.
there are tons of other such threads but you got the point.

there ar emore important threads and topics which needs you attention especially Afghans/Pashtuns of PF.

i can understand you guys just wanna have fun but there is no fun until the fat lady sings in other words we arent any typical people who's forums lookk the same as countries which are not occupied oppressed and over a million of their people are dead.

it would be nice if you guys gave your opinions or serious matters cuz that counts.

i think the majority of the members don't want to mess up with those who dont know how to speak in those threads.

                  r u serious?

i mean no joke but you think we Afghans should not be talking about what is happening in our country instead we should be discussing what did you eat today?

It's a really good question, especially in these most oppressive times
for Pashtuns and Afghans -- and really the whole region is very tense.

So why are these people watching Hollywood MOVIES
and eagerly discussing them or movie "stars" [ = very low - energy
souls who should not be given a single glance let alone their movies watched ].

I worry that these kids go so much into American NON-culture that
                      they may not redeemable.

Why aren't they volunteering in their spare time for some truly worthy
group or task ? Instead of knowing about American music stars
                      or watching TV...

Wake up, you guys, life is passing.
You will accountable for every word and every deed
and all the time totally wasted on trash.

Whereas, if you who are so into the trivial culture stuff
would study the Pashtun History and Culture threads
you could be enriching your brains.
And feeling proud of your peoples.

Instead of catering to what is the latest cool Western
product. This type of selling out one's identity will lead one ONLY
on the path toward oblivion, despair, upset.

Perhaps some people really don't know enough to contribute
                      to serious discussions.
Or some are afraid of being monitored by whatever agencies ?

That's what I always assume as the reason for why
some members are so reticent to express ANY opinion
which shows not being in favor of the nato occupation of Afg. and
                      battering of the region.

Graveyard, the problem is your approach. You can't attack members, and expect them to discuss a topic. Show respect, and I assure they will follow suit. I don't mean to single you out. I apologize if it seems that way, but we must uphold and maintain our values. Even if someone is a staunch Israeli Jewish nationalist, we must debate with respect. We will punish anyone who doesn't wish to follow this simple policy.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

i only attack people who attack Afghanistan and Afghans bas.
here im talking about Pashtuns/Afghans who dont take part in discussions about important events happening such as the border sealing.
and why would i be attacking Afghans/Pashtuns?
                              my approach is a reaction.
