I do not want to speak on behalf of the Amir of the forum (aka Ghaznavi) but it appears that he also notes a strategy that is occuring (not one that he advocates or supports or whatever).. but one of where a battle hardened Taliban are now going to become a resurgent force and either cause the ejection of the occupier forces and, then, once this is accomplished, they will turn their wrath onto an accomplice they have recognized (per the Abdul Salam Zaeef quote)... aka Islamabad. With the very probable links between the Afghan Taliban and the TTP (hence the Khost bombing that H Mehsud organized), I do not think what Amir Ghaznavi may be saying, is too out of the realm of probability.

I think Abdul Hadi Arghandiwal is a good candidate , he's both educated and an Islamist.
Ismail Khan would be an excellent leader, even if he is Tajik.

LOL!
what a nut job...
"This is a fallacy of that, that is a fallacy of this"...and all of them dead wrong!
What is the difference between a "perceived" event and an "Actual" event?
Can somebody ask him for an example of each? An event is in it self real and observable.
It isn't a fallacy of "guilt by association" if guilt is by participation. We know what "Spread democracy" means. It means "regime change", a four hundred year old western tactic of domination. Conservatives and liberals both agree that "democracy must be spread", but the underlying assumption is that it must be spread at any cost....collateral cost included.
****mitar says that Rashid is not a crony of imperialism, and then quotes Rashid's who regurgitates the bush policy verbatim..."Build the national army because warlords will harass the people." From a historical perspective, a powerful army has always come to harass the people...so what do we have to look forward to? A General turned dictator? Isn't that what most warlords are anyway? Wasn't Dostum a General from an Afghan army? How about Fahim's private army? Technically speaking there isn't much of a difference between the "national army" and the warlord's army. The difference is that the "national" army takes direction from the Imperial forces and the warlords function more like mercenaries. Does having a uniform make all the difference?
Both liberals and Conservatives are guilty...Rashid appeals to both parties.
Let's be clear, the formation of a national army has always been a part of the Bush doctrine. It was a part of the British doctrine 150 years ago even...So why is this ****mitar blind to it?
Because he thinks he is better than Ashraf as a human being. Not because the arguments are fallacious.
He argues backwardly. First he assumes the person he is arguing with is an idiot. Then he frames the argument in such a way where whatever side he is on is "concrete" and "factual" and the rest are "hallucinating" and "speculating". When it comes to politics...the truth is we are all speculating. We are not james bond here...going into the field and spying at the secret bilderberg meetings of the world's movers and shakers. So this buffoon should be treated as a mental case...for thinking that he is "in the know".Last edited by Alchemist; 09-04-2011, 11:46 PM.

if that is feasible; one things is that I don't believe everyone labeled Taliban are ideologically Taliban, but just resisting NATO; that's where Mullah Omar doesn't even factor in, Many are only Taliban just for weapons and training. These types I support and think they are legitimately fighting, so long as they avoid suicide missions of any sort Ashraf wants to pigeonhole resistance against America to legitimize Taliban as a movement.
But such people when successful should disband and even bring Taliban leadership to trial for their crimes against Muslims as well, both in Afghanistan and in Pakistan and if proven the world over

If it is not able to be done in Iraq, why would you think that Petreus would allow an Islamic system in Afghanistan when he has stated that one preoccupation of CENTCOM is to note where an Islamist government is probable and take it out (Somalia as an example)... even when no resource is there to pillage.Originally posted by ScimitarXEdge View Postif that is feasible; one things is that I don't believe everyone labeled Taliban are ideologically Taliban, but just resisting NATO; that's where Mullah Omar doesn't even factor in, Many are only Taliban just for weapons and training. Regarding strategy... would you not agree that the Khost operation set back the CIA a decade per their own assessment? Would you also not agree that this degree of asymmetry is not something that any sane person wants to adopt but appears to crop up whenever the odds are stacked against a fighting force (cuba, tamil, vietnam etc).
There is fighting as it is detailed in books... and Geneva conventions.. then there is the cold hard reality that soldiers knock down doors, shoot kids, and enemies retaliate. That is the world as it is... not as folks want it to be."2 crackheads don't become any better or stronger by sharing the same crack pipe." - Greatest PF quote

Perceptive devices are fallable and may perceive something not real. Similarly, a false event that never happened may be perceived to be real.Originally posted by Alchemist View PostLOL!

Here we see a logical fallacy (something you routinely resort to AC brother Jan). Democracy is the only system that can relatively better lead to internally harmonous and stable societies/world systems. Be objective and judge it in its own right without associating it with the agenda of one or another empire. It isn't a fallacy of "guilt by association" if guilt is by participation. ****mitar lives in a bubble called "the internet" where his moral compass conforms to the will of the majority.
"...as long as they don't do suicide bombing...I accept them"... You want to have your cake and eat it too? Mr. Keyboard warrior, never saw the barrel of a gun pointing at his face and he is here to teach the taliban how to fight.
What's this unbound love that he has for Ismail khan? Did he not get the memo that this "Emire" is also a "Warlord"?
What a confused buffoon we have here...
one minute he is quoting Rashid and nodding his head that warlords should not be aided and put on trial...next minute he is putting up a warlord as a candidate for presidency. Even though we know he is going to try to rig the elections anyway ...lol...As if Khan gives a rat's ass for pashtuns in herat! Why this much love for a warlord?
What's with this buffoons morals? Suicide bombing is so wrong for him, but the killing of innocent people is ok? Because that is what warlords do...fyi.
Get your act together douche bag!

At the end of the day, the only receptive device you have is your eyes. And whatever you see with your eye, you believe it to be real, even if it is a dream, until you wake up (and a final awakening
Democracy is the only system?
A system that depends on the will of the masses means that the only way it will function proper is if the people have the facts right. We know that the mass media is being manipulated...and as such the people are manipulated like sheep. And if you don't believe that the mass media is manipulated according to the agendas of that 1% with the 80% resources...then you my friend are asleep.
See what I mean? Or should I say..do you perceive what I mean?
There are countless examples of societies that flourished under the leadership of an enlightened man ...but never one of a system that was effective. Think about that.

uh which warlord am I putting up again? you mean Ismai'l Khan? ....that guy has never targeted innocent civilians, keep grasping though. Go back to Kuwait and serve Pork to the Al-Qaboos family, leave afghanistan for people who don't have their head up inside Massoud's rotting corpse, Would you please stop trying to argue just to argue, you're a beghairat conspiracy theorist phony. Even in your post you hd nothing to contribute except complaining about me rather than the subject of debate. That says something. That's what differentiates ad-hominem (what you do) and exposing you as an intellectually dishonest fraud who lacks knowledge on every front (what I do)
More on Isma'il Khan
The Naval Postgraduate School provides defense-focused graduate education, including classified studies and interdisciplinary research, to advance the operational effectiveness, technological leadership and warfighting advantage of the Naval service.
Though Khan could be ruthless, he tended to seek reconciliation rather than revenge during the war with the Soviets. Moreover, Khan has
not been linked to the kinds of massacres and atrocities regularly attributed to other commanders. Nor is there evidence of Khan's involvement in opium production or trafficking, unlike many of the Afghan

I wouldnt necessarily say that the Medinan choice was able to compete in a general election with him. The Majlis that chose him was made up of men that had God's blessing as well. There was a house that the medinans had all rallied at to choose a medinan gentleman. There were various proposals like a Muhajireen and Ansar concurrent caliphate that was shot down after Omar and Abu Bakr (R) quickly made their way to the scene.Originally posted by ScimitarXEdge View PostEven Islam has democracy ...how else did Abu Bakr Siddiq(ra) become Khalifa?"2 crackheads don't become any better or stronger by sharing the same crack pipe." - Greatest PF quote
