You haven't proven his account wrong ye; where as his testimony is straight from the horse's mouth
Its an interview after getting paid, not a testimony. your speculating.

He fought against the foreign troops for a reason, and he laid down his arms for a reason. It is economical, he will return back to the insurgency when the economics force him to. Taliban defection are not the solution because the Taliban are not the cancer, the taliban is a reaction to the cancer. This is an old strategy employed by the brits the soviets and now the Americans. It hasnt worked in the past.

remember, chemotherapy can destroy the body as much as cancer does.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

That is why you are seeing Afghanistan being destroyed. The Afghan society can not see an alternative or they have not yet figured out on an alternative to the cancer. Accepting the cancer is not on the afghan mindset and the Ghandi approach of peaceful resistance is also not on the Afghan mindset. So have you thought of a solution yet Randolph?

I would say the cancer is being treated . You had a couple tumors this past year which were surrounded by foreign antigens die off.

what was the taliban solution? kill their enemies, correct?

exchanging one cancer for another isn't exactly a remedy.

The best and the brightest have not figured out a remedy for Afghanistan Randolph hence my question to you. What you have in Afghanistan is chaos. Chaos is created by the central authority infringing on the rights of the tribes who have historically always been autonomous. If you want to bring central authority on those tribesmen(which is why the Afghan government was created in the first place), resistance is guaranteed.
This is the reason why Pakistan has always been reluctant on invading FATA. They know it does not work. Their approach was to slowly bring education to the region and have them by choice assimilate into the Pakistani nation. The US strategy of pressuring the Pakistani army to invade has been counter productive and has destabilized the Pakistani nation which is threatening the whole subcontinent.

I have proved my point that only self interests apply to this man.

What I am saying is that defections happen because of economics. When people defect, it is usually because of economic reasons. They did not all of a sudden have a change of heart and do not really believe what they were doing was wrong.

What your saying is that nur al aziz was a paki slave for fighting the afghan government and all of a sudden realized that he was actually a paki slave, and once he realized that he was a paki slave, he went over to the other side and became an American slave. So in your mind there are two options, either become a paki slave or an American slave. his comments are that of selling the Afghan Governments pitchline which you believe is sincerity.

What I am saying is that he was economically sidelined so he organized and fought for his rights. Once he became an un-ignorable nuisance, the Afghan government realized it is more economical to bribe him than to fight him so his rights were recognized and economic benefits were promised, he laid down his arms and is now a salesman for the Afghan government.
But this man lives in a tribal society, so he is unable to deliver many of his people to the afghan government wholesale like he could have if he lived in a feudal society, he cant even deliver all the men he commanded. The only solution is to bribe all Afghans and that is economically unfeasible so that is why this program will not work.

No you proved he's benefitted, you haven't proved that him benefitting disproves whatever he said about the Taliban

you're starting to sound like Alchemist bro.

That was never my aim, if the best and the brightest cant figure out the Taliban, how can I. My point was that him benefiting from his interview would make people doubt(without a doubt) on what he says. Also some of the things he says don't make sense. he says that the Taliban don't want NATO to leave, that they want them to stay as long as possible so they can kill more of them. That is a ridiculous statement since the Taliban has claimed numerous times that they would make peace once NATO is out. If he was initially against NATO and the afghan government because he was convinced that was the right thing to do and once he realized that the Taliban are Paki slaves, then from those option, logically he would accept neither and fight both of them. but all he did was go from being one slave to being another slave and in his mind he is well aware of that so in conclusion he is not sincere but selling the Afghan Governments pitchline and doubt is on the afghan people mind when ever he opens his mouth.

Also if the Taliban were Paki slaves, they would just demand that India's influence should completely leave Afghanistan, have the afghan government accept the durand line and other security guarantees for Pakistan as a condition for peace with the Government because that is all Pakistan cares about and that is feasible for NATO. But they are demanding none of that, they are just demanding NATO leave because that in their view is what would benefit the Afghan people in the long run.

Do I still sound like Alchemist?

You're presenting a false dichotomy, argument; his reasoning for joining the Government is not because he wants NATO, he just wants Afghans to die needlessly and stop being used as pawns.

Just like typical Graveyard/Ashraf statements one should not assume that being against one means support for the other. That's a false dichotomy

                                about India
so I guess the bombing of Indian embassies was their welcome party
