    Graveyard,

you are the dumbest person I have ever met since George W. Bush, jr.
Everyone who is not with you is against you, right?

Just because people question the motives of the powers who support the Taliban, it doesn´t mean they support occupation.

If you wanna get pumped up your *** in proxy wars for benefit of others, feel free to do so. Don´t expect others to join you.
Not AT ALL commenting on this spat between Ghaznavi and GYE.

This is a question to you... let us veer away from this Azmalian/Salehian/Farsibaniaan depiction of reality... is it not fair to say that both sides simplify this arguement to the point of absurdity? For example, your take on this, in the past has been: The Taliban are armed by Pakistan, therefore they are ipso facto evil and wrong and ONLY represent Pakistani interest. There is black and there is white and no argument for something more logical: the Taliban appeal to the rural masses.

Yet these are obvious shades of gray. The attempt is to depict the Taliban as a bungra extension force that seeks to panjabify the whole of Afghanistan. That is just plain misinformed. The other argument is that if they do not seek to Panjabify it then they at least seek to Wahabify it.

Have you ever thought about Afghan history and about the fatwas of Mir Wais, the call to jihad written to Abdali by Shah Waliullah? The ability of the clergy to rise up against Shah Amanullah? There has always been a religious fabric in Afghanistan and in times of invasion by outside powers (e.g. The Shiite Safavids during Mir Wais's era, the British, the Russians etc) religious revivalism and radicalism become an instrument of galvanization.

Moreover, I think its a dishonest set up to say Karzai and his cronies represent an independent and free Afghanistan.

Then the retort is always: If not the Taliban then our only other choice is Karzai. This also makes little if any sense. Bases till 2024 is hardly a land that has been given its free choice.

Most people of Afghanistan- the majority have GOE's mindset, and that is what has kept the country free, and is the reason it will be free.

Do not use emotional blackmail about development and that. Afghans will develop the country once it is free. Till then, it will only become more of a burden for the foreign occupation and their expat cronies. Their wealth will be depleted, and their own economies destroyed. The world is changing, and there is no longer a place for losers.

This summer should detail you how this all ends.

Afghans will not tolerate any foreigner or their cronies

Some dirty, filthy expats who were failures in the West think they can come and impose the US occupation on the Afghans, then they have miscalculated.

Ahmad Wali Karzai, Daud Daud, Jan Khan, Spanta, Karzai, Rasool, Ashraf Ghani - these guys are about the dumbest people I know. Maybe they think they are shrewd, but then 3 of them now have 'late' precede their names- and no one mourns them as it is made out to be. They are hated and despised, all the more explanation for the events that unfolded.

Papers can be burned. These people are provoking problems for themselves.

You shouldn´t reproduce words that I never used the words "evil".

It is a clear fact that those who harbour the Taliban have their own strategic goals which is constantly denied by people like you.
We don´t live in an altruistic world where guns, ammunition, training, food and shelter are given to an armed militia or insurgent army without any goals.

The resistance itself says it is fighting for the, Islam and the liberation of Afghanistan.
A horrible fact is that the civilian casualties of Afghans is atleast twice that big as those of occupation forces.
It is a horrible fact, that Islam as a religion is misused for suicide missions, the justification of civilian bystanders who get their limbs blown off by bombs etc.
And anyone with a brain would know that fighting one occupation and replacing them with another can´t be in the interest of Afghanistan.
I don´t wanna see the Americans leaving and all the Ahmad&Mahmuds from around the Jihadi World arrive in Afghanistan.

Fact is, that the American military and economical apparatus is ruined. They got ruined by a long war.
Keep in mind, that Afghanistan´s won alot of wars in his history, but most of them weren´t won militarily...in many cases almost all battles on the field were even lost.....the war was won because the enemy couldn´t sustaine supply lines, moral etc.

                True.
The religious moment has always been a very effective moment to rally people and call them to arms.
But you have to keep in mind that religious sentiments have always been misused, too.
Many rebellions arranged by British spies disguised as clerics are a witness.
The religious moment is deteriorating constantly since 1981 when an "Islamic Liberation" of Afghanistan was called out.
The role of the clergy of Shia and Sunni branch in the wars after 1992 is evident, too.

Whatever Afghans want, they should get it.
If it´s a theocracy Saudi style or a Jirga system based on their own traditions.
Afghans are brave enough to even get rid of "bad" choices!

Karzai and his junta is nothing but a copy of Karmal and Najib.

The difference is that Afghanistan has been through a 30 year lasting war.
Karmal and Najib believed the could make it and impose a military solution to this conflict.
But there is no military solution if both quarreling parties are foreign funded, organised and supplied proxy armies (NA and Taliban) and an endless war would be won by either side on the expense of the ordinary people.
                The only constant is change.

Yeah when afghans were fighting the "mighty" british empire they needed sanctuary or food and ammunation.
Afghan civilians help them with weapons and food.
since the incompitent Afghan government was looking for a boogy man they blamed the anti occupation forces on Pakistan and thus gave pakistan a much larger role. How is it possible that pakistana country which is instrumental in the occuaption of Afghanistan and responsible for talibans getting killed at the same time be supported by taliban?

The resistance itself says it is fighting for the, Islam and the liberation of Afghanistan.

well there are plenty of ways to get weapons in Afghanistan you know.

                                lets see

-afghan army/police sell it to them
-afghan villagers who still have weapons with them give it to them
                                -illegal gun market in pukhtunkhwa
-captured during a fight, like the weapons they captured in nuristan and kunar
-they have tons of weapons burried in the ground in the time of fight against russians.
