Maybe because I see that both sides are not interested in the well-being of the ordinary people dying on a daily basis while being sandwiched between two armed gangs who impose foreign interests in a country ravaged by proxy wars....

      -illegal gun market in pukhtunkhwa
-captured during a fight, like the weapons they captured in nuristan and kunar

One senior (U.S.) intelligence analyst told me, "The request was made by Musharraf to Bush, but Cheney took charge—a token of who was handling Musharraf at the time. The approval was not shared with anyone at State, including Colin Powell, until well after the event. Musharraf said Pakistan needed to save its dignity and its valued people. Two planes were involved, which made several sorties a night over several nights. They took off from air bases in Chitral and Gilgit in Pakistan's northern areas, and landed in Kunduz, where the evacuees were waiting on the tarmac. Certainly hundreds and perhaps as many as one thousand people escaped. Hundreds of ISI officers, Taliban commanders, and foot soldiers belonging to the IMU and al Qaeda personnel boarded the planes. What was sold as a minor extraction turned into a major air bridge. The frustrated U.S. SOF who watched it from the surrounding high ground dubbed it "Operation Evil Airlift." Another senior U.S. diplomat told me afterward, "Musharraf fooled us because after we gave approval, the ISI may have run a much bigger operation and got out more people. We just don't know. At the time nobody wanted to hurt Musharraf, and his prestige with the army was at stake. The real question is why Musharraf did not get his men out before. Clearly the ISI was running its own war against the Americans and did not want to leave Afghanistan until the last moment."

Stupid claims are one thing, reality is another.
I see you have never served in any military, nor do you know what it means to supply large amount of men.

Your first claim can be true, but a whole insurgent army can´t be equipped like that. Specially in the case of high explosives.

Yes, villagers supply insurgents with weapons.....because?
Because the Taliban bomb them to hell so well?

The illegal gun market in Pakhtunkhwa....interesting....it´s still a market and you have to purchase weapons there. Where does an insurgent army get money from?
        The villagers, right?

The captured ammunition depot of the Americans was useless because their weaponry has different calibres......never heard of NATO and Warsaw standard weapons, right?

Weapons buried under ground....TONS of them.
Stop making a fool out of yourself, kid. Seriously.
AK-47 ammunition buried under ground is useless even after 4-5 years, let alone after 22 years.

You make absolutly NO sense and you know it.
        The only constant is change.

Ahmad Rashid is our most brilliant writer in Pakistan. He enjoys a lot of prestige. His person is very important that even his enemies (some of ISI generals) do not touch him!

This is an evidance. Just play the video and see! It´s not a secret and even Pakistanis know that ISI generals were in Afghanistan. Just listen to the guy. He mentions a Pakistani soldier called ''Major Tariq'' who was caught.

now a days Pashtuns are not Pashtuns, they are Afghans and Pakistanis.
so if a Punjabi gets killed by US the Pakhtuns in KP will rise up because a Pakistani got killed and Pakistani media will show it alot, but a Pashtuns dies...who cares.

June 14: Taliban militants have been extorting heavy ransoms from residents in return for releasing captives, residents alleged. "The Taliban abducted a teacher, named Arif, from his house last week and demand 200,000 afghanis ($4,300) in ransom," a resident of the Sherbaik area in Qosh Tapa district said. Bismillah said Arif's aged mother borrowed 50,000 afs from area people to secure the release of her son from Taliban captivity. The rebels, who previously collected zakat and usher from shepherds and growers, are now kidnapping people and government employees for ransom, he claimed. "They are harassing people on one pretext or another," said Khairullah (not his real name), another resident of the Bato village of Darz Aab district. Haji Rahman, a dweller of Mughul village, was kidnapped along with his friend last week. They were freed after paying 100,000 afs in ransom, he added. The town's administrative head, Aminullah, acknowledged that the militants had become a nuisance for the people of remote areas of Qosh Tapa. They allegedly got passengers off vehicles in the Chapma Chaqore village and were wresting money from them. Source: Pajhwok Afghan News.

That makes sense, but also doesn't make sense. It makes some sense for Pakistan create and fight TTP, so they can get Americans off their back. But, doesnt make sense for the average Talib, and Pak soldier to fight each other, knowing it's all some sick game.
