I hear so much about this Durrand line, but what is the solution then, do you peopel want that the lands in Pakistan where pashtun leaves will join Afghanistan?. But what about other minoritys that leaves on that land? or only Pashtuns leaves there?
So the other have to move to Punjab or somthing or you just want that everything will stay the same, and this line would not be mined but it will be in control of Pakistan. For me this is not a solution we just have to make thos lands to join Afghanistan or just draw that border so we can go further whith our lives. Becuase now we have a half solution and because of this line the hole region is so unstable.

Well, first of all, Pashtuns never accepted nor did they compromise tribal bonds simply because some pig by the name of Durrand established the Durrand line prior to then creating the British Raj inspired state of Pakistan. The ferangi rules may mean something to Pakistanis obviously (that has always been the case), but it means nothing to Pashtuns.

        .
.Who these areas belonged to 1947 that is no concern of mine, after '47 they became my business
Who this area "belongs" to now is of no concern to me. Its my land, and don't worry, Pashtuns will have it back, and it does not matter if some Pashtun people are content with Pakistan ..
The good is that a huge majority of Afghans realizes that now than they did 60 years
As long as Pashtuns are divided they will be weak. Afghans will have to take things in steps, not pull a Daud Khan, and try to accomplish everything at once. First, Afghanistan needs to force the foreigners to hastily withdraw which they are currently doing. Second, Afghanistan needs to build its air defense, army, infrastructure, educational institutions, and government. Economic ties will have to be made. Third, after a measured sense of prosperity within the current defined state, can Afghanistan move forward with taking back the Pashtun lands of Pakistan.

Now, if there exists a popular separatist movement in FATA and KP, then Afghanistan has to support it by all means.

YouTube videos don't mount to much in a country of over 180 million..There are ofcourse people who feel passionate about Loy Afghanistan just as much as you do but I have yet to come across a Pashtun outside this forum who feels that way
I didn't know you not coming across someone who wants Pashtun unity amounts to some sort of evidence? LOL

I am just stating the facts, even members here albeit a few will atleast acknowledge this ground reality
Ground reality is that Pakistan has sold Pashtun blood to the US via drone attacks. This means that no longer can those people in Mohmand, Bajaur, Waziristan, etc, ever trust their Pakistani Muslim brothers to protect them from such attacks. The long-term implications are clear.

The US war is against Afghanistan, and then specifically against the Pashtuns. Since they are being defeated, in fact admitted defeat, they have continued to request that Pakistan start a full-scale operation against Pashtuns.

Pakistan will not do this because 1) they know they will be defeated as usual and 2) they don't want to add to Pashtun nationalistic fervor, and the calls for a Pashtunistan.

Punjabi ethnofascists in the military and civil bureaucracy, and politics have their own ambitions and insecurities...vis-a'-vis Pashun national integration and Afghanistan. These insecurities have been excacerbated by the current regional and global situation whence those concerned with regional and global peace have determined that terrorist ideologies and networks are linked with Punjab's ambitions and insecurities...and that Punjab is playing more dangerous role than Sunni Arabs played in Iraq and Serbs played in Yugoslavia.

When is the game going to wind up one cannot forecast precisely but one thing is certain that West has never forgiven those that did it wrong...The recent downing of Chinoke Helipcopter has been traced to support from elements within Pakistan's security establishment....Far from mining the Durand Line, It is time for the Punjabi elite to mend Punjab's relations with India especially East Punjab because that is where is its natural destiny.

As long as Pashtun political parties, intellectuals, poets, artists, etc. are alive, mining of Durand Line would never happen. On this point, the religious parties are also one voice with nationalist parties.

Days of Ranjit Singhi dreams are over.

ANP wants Southern Pakhtunkhwa province in Balochistan

PESHAWAR: Amid the ongoing debate across the country on the creation of new provinces, the Awami National Party (ANP) on Tuesday demanded that the Pashtun-populated areas in Balochistan should be made a separate province, namely Southern Pakhtunkhwa province.

The demand was made at a meeting of the party’s tribal members from the tribal areas. It was presided over by the ANP provincial president Senator Afrasiab Khattak, who highlighted the demand.

Addressing the meeting, Afrasiab Khattak made it clear that consultation for a new Pakhtun province would be made first within the party. He said all the Pakhtuns were one nation and they could not be separated from each other through geographical demarcations.

The ANP presently has two MPAs in Balochistan but the bigger political parties in the Pashtun areas are the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PMAP) of Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Maulana Fazlur Rahman’s JUI-F. The latter suffered a split in the 2008 general election when a splinter group, JUI Nazriati, led by Maulana Asmatullah was formed. No decision about Balochistan’s Pashtun population could win popular support if not backed by the PMAP and the JUI factions.

Regarding reforms in the tribal areas, Afrasiab Khattak said that extension of the Political Parties Act to the Federally Administered Tribal Areas and providing the tribal people representation in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly was the need of the hour.

Chairing the meeting at the party headquarters, he said the tribal people were being isolated under a well-planned conspiracy. “The time has come to merge the tribal areas with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to bring them to the mainstream so that integrated efforts could be made there against terrorism and extremism,” he stressed.

Flanked by ANP in-charge for the tribal areas Abdul Lateef Afridi, Senator Afrasiab Khattak said all the political parties should join hands to steer the tribal areas out of the prevailing mess.

He was of the opinion that the state would have to shoulder its responsibilities to tackle the menace of terrorism. He added that the senatorsí funds should be utilised for uplift of the tribal areas. The meeting also discussed matters pertaining to the party situation in the tribal areas.

This is certainly a good idea since it shows that our demands are still not even an ounce close to met. Baluchistan, especially the Kandahar-Quetta tract is full of Pukhtuns, so this demand certainly is logical and plausible.

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Lets not forget starting the Crusades, only to get their asses whooped LMAO They have no grounds for anything, and are suffering a defeat on the global stage

Oh wow, you give credit to Pakistan like Talal. You appear to profess that Afghans are incapable of arming and defending themselves, protecting their homeland. How retarded? So Afghans should have welcomed a night raid. Do you have common sense? You lack it.

This is the most stupid thing I have seen you say. WHo told the stupid foreign aggressors (feeling safe in the sky) to go and raid Afghan homes?. Had they taken their piggy asses out of Afghanistan, they would not be dead now, would they. WHat exactly are you even saying?

ANP is going to make this a part of its election manifesto...and PMAP has it already a part of its party manifesto....(although, they are demanding for a greater Pukhtunkhwa kind of merger of sourthern and northern Pukhtunkhwas)....ANP previously, didn't talk of the division of Baluchistan but now they are openly talking of that....

Fortunately, there is agreement between Baluch and Pashtun nationalists that Baluchistan should be divided so Pashtuns get their province.

Talal is not aware of the ground realities...Many of my friends feel that Pashtun in Pukhtunkhwa especially youngsters are increasingly becoming nationlist and are kind of feeling that Pashtuns have been done a wrong although they cannot envision clearly what should be the solution...

When NWFP was renamed as KPK, Azam Hoti had said (last year), soon there would be Boolan Pukhtunkhwa as well...So I think they already have these things in mind...

It is not a formal agreement but a sort of understanding between Pashtun nationalists and Baluch nationalists that Pashtun areas belong to Pashtuns and can be separated from the present Baluchistan and made a new province or merged with KPK. Baluch nationalists have categorically accepted this principle.

Baluch nationalists knows very well that Pashtun integration is going to strengthen their movement as well.
