No, I will not waste my time with people who are not able to accept reality under the excuse of their pride. I could comment on your comment but why should I? Will you learn something from it? I doubt you will.

    @Mostafa

if the agreement is no more reality for you why don“t you come to Pakistan and make your try on our country and lands? Why always crying behind medias? We would welcome you. Just come and sit with us and discuss on that issue with us.

    Agreement between Amir Abdur Rahman Khan, G. C. S. I., and Sir Henry Mortimer Durand, K. C. I. E., C. S. I.

Whereas certain questions have arisen regarding the frontier of Afghanistan on the side of India, and whereas both His Highness the Amir and the Government of India are desirous of settling these questions by friendly understanding, and of fixing the limit of their respective spheres of influence, so that for the future there may be no difference of opinion on the subject between the allied Governments, it is hereby agreed as follows:
    1. The eastern and southern frontier of his Highness's dominions, from Wakhan to the Persian border, shall follow the line shown in the map attached to this agreement.
    2. The Government of India will at no time exercise interference in the territories lying beyond this line on the side of Afghanistan, and His Highness the Amir will at no time exercise interference in the territories lying beyond this line on the side of India.
    3. The British Government thus agrees to His Highness the Amir retaining Asmar and the valley above it, as far as Chanak. His Highness agrees, on the other hand, that he will at no time exercise interference in Swat, Bajaur, or Chitral, including the Arnawai or Bashgal valley. The British Government also agrees to leave to His Highness the Birmal tract as shown in the detailed map already given to his Highness, who relinquishes his claim to the rest of the Waziri country and Dawar. His Highness also relinquishes his claim to Chageh.
    4. The frontier line will hereafter be laid down in detail and demarcated, wherever this may be practicable and desirable, by joint British and Afghan commissioners, whose object will be to arrive by mutual understanding at a boundary which shall adhere with the greatest possible exactness to the line shown in the map attached to this agreement, having due regard to the existing local rights of villages adjoining the frontier.
    5. With reference to the question of Chaman, the Amir withdraws his objection to the new British cantonment and concedes to the British Governmeni the rights purchased by him in the Sirkai Tilerai water. At this part of the frontier the line will be drawn as follows:

From the crest of the Khwaja Amran range near the Psha Kotal, which remains in British territory, the line will run in such a direction as to leave Murgha Chaman and the Sharobo spring to Afghanistan, and to pass half-way between the New Chaman Fort and the Afghan outpost known locally as Lashkar Dand. The line will then pass half-way between the railway station and the hill known as the Mian Baldak, and, turning south-wards, will rejoin the Khwaja Amran range, leaving the Gwasha Post in British territory, and the road to Shorawak to the west and south of Gwasha in Afghanistan. The British Government will not exercise any interference within half a mile of the road.
    6. The above articles of' agreement are regarded by the Government of India and His Highness the Amir of Afghanistan as a full and satisfactory settlement of all the principal differences of opinion which have arisen between them in regard to the frontier; and both the Government of India and His Highness the Amir undertake that any differences of detail, such as those which will have to be considered hereafter by the officers appointed to demarcate the boundary line, shall be settled in a friendly spirit, so as to remove for the future as far as possible all causes of doubt and misunderstanding between the two Governments.
    7. Being fully satisfied of His Highness's goodwill to the British Government, and wishing to see Afghanistan independent and strong, the Government of India will raise no objection to the purchase and import by His Highness of munitions of war, and they will themselves grant him some help in this respect. Further, in order to mark their sense of the friendly spirit in which His Highness the Amir has entered into these negotiations, the Government of India undertake to increase by the sum of six lakhs of rupees a year the subsidy of twelve lakhs now granted to His Highness.

    H. M. Durand,
    Amir Abdur Rahman Khan.

    Kabul, November 12, 1893.

    • ^ Look who is talking. You haven't got any truth to hold on to or speak of it, that's why you have given up. Not because you want to spare your time, especially looking at the amount of time you have already spent on your first day.

      Right.

            No doubt about that.
Unification will come, if part of the oppressing and exploiting military and civil establishment want it or not.

It is a natural occurance that people speaking the same language, having the same history, culture and heritage always bond together.

An imperial creation like Pakistan cannot change nature.

Who are you? Technically you are a british national. If you have a dual nationality then you should discard your pakistani nationality. And judging from your wannabe afghaniyat, you should apply for afghan citizenship.

They were not Mongols but Turkmen, highly Farsiwanized by their Tajik and Iranian lords and through their mothers and wifes who made the entire dynasty a Farsiwan dynasty. Maybe, in later times they had some Pashtun wifes but as we know we had never played any significant role in the history of non-Pashtoons. Did they ever promoted Pashtu or Pashtoons? Have anyone of the Ghazanvian court writers wrote anywhere that Mahmud“s mother was a Pashtun? Even the Iranian Shahnami tell us that his mum was a Farsiwan and this book was written under his own eyes by Pirdusi. The Ghaznavis power was based on Farsiwan bureaucracy and administrations. The army consisted of mainly loyalist Turkic troups and Farsiwans and other non-Pashtuns of the region. When they attacked Pashtuns and killed thousands of our ancestors and enslaved thousands of other Pashtuns they forced those to serve in the army. Have you ever heard about the event that they made Pashtuns fighting Pashtuns, Gakkars and Khakris and their Hindu lords of Lahor, the local Raja putra? Pashtuns played a role in the army but not an important role. The important role were playing by Farsiwan nationalist movements and Arabs from Bagdad who later dominated the entire army.

Ghazni is till today a Farsiwan city. Farsiwans who onced lived in Andar and other districts were possibly absorbed by Hazaras and Pashtuns.
                  Chelski fan,

I think you're way more educated and informed than these long ear Afghans like Shaesta and few more (not Pashtons). You have outlined the situation with the Ghaznavids very well. As a Tajik I gave you top marks for that. Ghaznavids, as the left over and successor to the Tajik Samanids, were mostly Tajiks (Iranian Muslim scholars, administrators, politicians, scientists people were called "Tajik" by Turkmen and Turk-o-Mongols).

Some military SepahSalaars were "Turk-Manand" (Turkmen="like Turks"), the remainder from the guards of Sebuktagin, Alaptagin, former slaves of Samanids. You're correct in your assessment. Sultan Mahmoud would have (God knows what he would have done to him) to Mustafa if he had said to him that he was a Mongol. But anyway, Ghorids were Tajiks as well. In fact, Ghorids and Ghaznavids converted Pashtons into Islam. But instead of adopting the Tajik ways, Pashtons adopted the militant and tribal Turk ways.

                  I'm an Arsenal fan.

what a logic? the who are the pashtuns? if pashtun accepted islam through ghurids and ghaznavids why pashtun did not adopt the tajik langauge and culture, may be because Ghaurids were pashtun themselves.

Sorry, matey, "Pata Khazana" of Abdul Hai Habibi doesn't wash anymore. It doesn't wash even with Pashtons anymore, especially with urban Pashtons of Pakistan who can't accept hidden lies being passed as hidden treasures.

Study "Tarikh-ul-Hind" of Tajik Al-Bironi ( Ahmad Shah Massoud founded a University in his name in Kapisa Province). A masterpiece of a history-writing, in it Biruni explains who "Afghans" were and how they were converted into Islam.

Al-Biruni worked at the court of Sultan Mahmoud of Ghazna and accompanied him to India. Pashtons, much later, eventually did adopt a culture and language that is massively influenced and inspired by Tajik culture and language. If you're to study about the movements of Darwaza (a Tajik, I think from Badakhshan) and Pir Rokhan (an Ansari Arab, very close to Tajiks), the lynchpins of the movements that awakened tribes against Mughal rule, you'll learn more.

                          All the best.
