how many times have you seen china interpering in other business? in the 60s china had only diplomatic relations with pakies. How many times india asked Zahir Shah to allow the afghan air space to be used against Pakies? the allianace between india and afghanistan has always been constructive. historically we are very closely related and important to each others.

Pakistan is the artificial patching-up of different ethnic, cultural and sub-religious groups in the name of Islam. Its founding ideology, though flawed and racist from the outset, was resoundingly defeated (by itself no less) nearly 40 years ago.

Such a state has no identity (if all Muslims are one nation, they why aren't Algerians and Malays also Pakistanis?), no history, no recognition, nothing to be proud of and it has no future in a world where nations make up states and nations are ethnic, not religious. Israelis are an ethnic group, not a religious group.

In any case, our strong and proud Pashtun identity and history eclipse this false Pakistani bravado quite overwhelmingly. Therefore, when we Pashtuns uphold our unique culture and history and show disdain for this artificial state of Pakistan, you must try and understand where we're coming from.

For Punjabis and others, Pakistan has been their greatest historical 'achievement' (which was granted to them by the British Raj lol). The Pashtuns have a greater history and have much greater achievements. We Pashtuns, as an ancient and independent peoples, view the world differently. Pakistan is just one of the many flags that have been planed on our soil and then subsequently uprooted and thrown down the annals of history. Our historical achievements outweigh this British creation called Pakistan immeasurably and our potential as a nation gives us optimism beyond what this Pakistan can offer anyone.
