People Yes I used the tribe's name to go against Persian claim. I can't remember how or why, but it came from some Iranica to claim that Saman was some Persian name and Persian related royal family and that therefore samanids were not Afghan but Persian. I took that same "persian" towards a tribe we have and said why not these people can claim Samanids if they also carry a living tribal name. Me Against Persians upset many of them, and I got banned. The other possibilty of Samanid is "Pashtun" claim. Just as many Afghan tribes who trace their origin from famous Afghans. The question was raised over persian claimed supported by Ghalis that samanids were not native of Balkh not even close to being Afghan but rather related to a persian family. Iranians claim many things as you all know. Thanks god it has been weaken compare to what it was 8 years ago. So here we are battling some agencies against Afghan.

What you joined here before and you know what kind of people we have here, they are mostly educated and warm hearted kind people. For the argument's sake they would say anything to diss you but if you settle with them Pashtun they are the most nicest people on planet.

Who claimed that you have to believe the words of Tjaiks, Iranians, Arabs or Pakistanis (to the last two you pay them enough attention and belief, ironically!). Khaled Husseini´s mother is a Pashtun. You can ask himself. He is culturally and from father-side a non-Pashtun. That´s all. He also does not speak Pashtu which make him also a non-Pashtun.

I can see you disagree with him, I would also disagree with him, but I kind of support him, he has facts. The reality deep in my mind is that Pashtuns/Afghans are really their own enemy. Why are Pashtuns so divided, why can't they just for once for all for the sake of humanity, for the sake of peace, for the sake of their own roots and race, or for the sake of language, for the sake of anything just get united. Abdulrahman is a great king and you should thank the phatans who were dogs of the british for the deal and the deal went dead right when british empire attacked Afghanistan.
my family members have been fighting the british in pukhtunkhwa forever while phatans were fighting for british against Pukhtane tribals and Afghansitan.
