  • The enemies of Pashtuns - Who?

Asalamu Alaikum dear brothers and sisters,

by surfing through this forum I saw many postings about claimed enemies that Pashtuns have. One poster started that ANA and US rape our women and kill our children, another one started to bad-mouthing Panjabis and Tajiks, other started to insult everyone living around Pashtuns. My question would be to you who is really your enemy. Please call them by their names, explicitely, so we can have an image of what many of you nice people talk. Possibly, we can discuss this issue really here and clear it. Maybe, the one here and the one there of you even find some own mistakes. Please explain why you think a group or a person is the Pashtuns´ enemy.

    Thank you

The military establishment of Pakistan is the number one enemy of Pashtuns as well as other oppressed nations [Baloch, Sindhi, Seraiki, Mahajir etc] living in Pakistan.

Here is the proof that Pakistan is an autocratic military empire run by the generals of GHQ rather than by other democratic institutions in Pakistan.

        ----------------

The Hold of Pakistan Army over the Country By Zahid Khan Kakar

Everyone knows that the real power to govern Pakistan is their Army. The Pakistan’s Army is enjoying the actual control of government in the country for last 62 years. The foreign policy which is the backbone for every country’s prosperity and sovereignty is totally controlled by Army. Infact they have also significant role in internal decisions of the country.

They have played vital role to end and brought the Rulers over the country. The civilians or politicians who claim themselves the Government or the rulers are infact powerless in front of Pakistan Army. This is only because of lack of gross root leadership in the country. The gross root means the leader who definitely belongs to the people of middle class of Pakistan.

The game of power was started just after the division when India send their troops in Kashmir while when Quid-e-Azam ordered General Douglas Gracey, the second Commander-in-Chief of Pakistan Army to send troops to Kashmir, the Pakistani Commander-in-Chief refused to comply as he had no instructions in this regard from the joint Supreme Commander Field Marshal Auckenlec who was sitting in Delhi flirting with the Governor General of India. For this refusal, Jinnah had not taken strict action against C-in-C and Gracey was remained C-in-C from 11 February 1948 to 16 January 1951. I think this was the first knell in constitutionalism of the country.

After the death of Quid-e-Azam, the command was in the hands of Nawabzada Liaqat Ali Khan who was then assassinated in public gathering at Rawalpindi on 16 Oct, 1951. There was obvious vacuum of leadership in the country. The country was desperately missing a leader who could control the situation like in the current days. Major Genral Iskindar Mirza was ready to take the power and he took the power of the country as the first president of Pakistan. Then Sikandar Mirza was kicked out by his C-in-C General Ayub Khan in 1958 and it was the first martial law of the country. Ayub Khan became the supreme commander of the country who was then both the president and commandant-in-chief of the country.

At that time, the Army had declared publicly the hold of power over the country. This all happened due to poor leadership and lack of straight forward decisions. From that time, the Army had started to make the politician nursery of their own and they were succeeded to make several politicians of their own breed. And at the same time, they deployed their breeds in the ground to play their own game with the people of Pakistan. Finally that game originated the division of country into two parts and the world largest Muslim state was divided into two parts just because of their playoffs. At that stage, they were in deep pressure but Zulfiqal Ali Bhutto was the only caretaker of them.

After the incident of 1971, they waited for a while, and finally they imposed martial on July 5 1977 once more and snatched the power from civilian leaderships. Then after Zia-ul-Haq, they did not wait at all and were involved in playing their own game of power. They made different political parties of their own nurseries and launched these parties in the streets of the country in form of religious and moderates groups.
Then the regime of Musharaf was started in Oct 1999 and he declared himself the supreme leader of the country. He stayed on his seat for about ten years, and then Asif Ali Zardari and his PPP came into power after Feb, 2008 general elections.

From Day one to date, I can say that the real hub of the power to govern the country is laid down in GHQ. The civilian are just their culprits, they act up on hints of GHQ. Foreign policy and other internal security policies are hundred percent drawing by GHQ. Even the President Zaradari and Yusuf Raza Gallani visited France and China respectively by the hints of GHQ to take off the pressure of America over Osama’s killing at Abbot Abad. This shows that, the civilian leadership and their government is infact run by GHQ.

Now in the current days, it is time for civilian leadership to get unite and draw a clear cut line towards GHQ and take the whole power in their hands. And they can do it easily because the Army is in deep pressure on Osama’s crisis. They should take the decisions with the consultation of other political parties in favor of country and should revise their all foreign policies in the case of India, US and Afghanistan. They should clearly direct the Genral Kyani and Genral Pasha about the policy over terrorism and ISI’s political wing should be banned for ever. Their budget should be declared positively in the parliament as suggested by Nawaz Sherif. It is the only chance for them to bring the true democracy in the country otherwise their end will be the same like GHQ did with others.

Can you bring an evidance for that claim? Where? When? Isn´t actually Pashtuns who claim for Maulana Jamaluddin Balkhi beeing a Pashtun or for Ibn Sina? I remember a stupid article written by this clown Nick. Possibly the greatest loser on net and not even a Pashtun but a Dari-speaking (Tajikficated Arab) that Samanids who hailed from Saman, Balkh, were Pashtuns of the non-existent tribe Samanzai LOL . Now judge by yourself who do what and who is wrong. I met many of such Pashtun nationalists (who are the real enemies of Pashtuns and the innocent children of Pashtuns). How many pretended Pashtun-nationlists can speak in their own native language instead in Dari and still claiming beeing Pashtuns or represent Pashtuns and at the same time licking non-Pashtun shoes, specially of Iran and Pakistan?

Pashtuns and "Parsiwaans" (Proper name: Tajiks) are the same race but different ethnicity.
That´s not true. They can claim on a common ancestory for a certain periode and a common species (human-beeing) but both groups adoptet the last 2000 years different elements. That´s why both groups have different islamic views, different languages, cultures and customs, myths and wishes.

Just yesterday you said Wardaks aren't real Pashtuns, and a lot of other Pashtuns are actually either: Tajiki/Uzbeki/Hindkwos/Dards, who have been Pashtunized in the last hundreds of years.

That is just one small example of Parsiwaans rewriting Pashtun history.

But this is not rewriting your history but just repeating the scholaric works of antropologs and historians who works for Afghanistan, it´s rich history, it´s proud and noble people. You accept the words of Arabs and Pakis but not the word of objective sources.

Beside that I used examples for tribes like Wardaks who are obviously not real Pashtuns.

I meant race as in genetics and skin color.
even in that case there is much differences between the people. Uzbek people are to 60% ''Iranians'' because they mixed with the Iranian population who were the majority. Are now Pashtuns related with them or not?

You don't have any credibility as yesterday you said Khaled Hosseini was half-Pashtun, when BarackzaiAbdali who had meet him, said he was not Pashtun.

I love my Pakistani brothers, as a Punjabi never claims that Pashtuns come from them, or are them.
Who claimed that you have to believe the words of Tjaiks, Iranians, Arabs or Pakistanis (to the last two you pay them enough attention and belief, ironically!). Khaled Husseini´s mother is a Pashtun. You can ask himself. He is culturally and from father-side a non-Pashtun. That´s all. He also does not speak Pashtu which make him also a non-Pashtun.

I read its first Riverhead paperback edition (2004) in November of 2009. Its hardcover was published a year earlier in 2003. He is culturally a non-Pashtun but ethnically a half-Pashtun: Dr. Hosseini’s mother, grandmother and great-grandmother belong to the Mohammadzai nobility of Pashtun heritage. Also, his aunt is the mother of Prince Mostapha Zaher, the grandson of King Zaher Shah( 1914-2007).

That´s the words of a Pashtun elitist, if you do not believe me.

Like I said theirs a user "BarakzaiAbdali" who has met him, and from Khaleds own mouth said he wasn't a Pashtun.
Why should someone talk about ethnicity, particularely such a well educated man like brother Khaled Jan? She lied on you.

Ps: you did not answered my questions.

                    Again:

My family lived in many areas of Kabul and even outside of Kabul. We have everywhere our lands and houses. The last years of my life I lived in Wazir Akbar Khan, before that in Karte Parwan and before that in Gul Bahar.

Khaled Husseini has no power nor weapons. How can he be your enemy? Words can not kill, emotions do.

                              Not an idiot,
Are you aware that Quetta - Kandahar is full of Barakzais and they all speak, read, and write in Pashto? One can say Tajiks are Pashtunized because nearly every Tajik I personally know speaks Pashto and takes pride in it. Tajiks are also in the south, and they have fully assimilated into Pashtun/Afghan culture.

His claim is obviously absurd. It's the enemies of Pashtuns who attempt to coin theories that may further divide us. Keep your guards up, and stay strong.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
