No government in the presence of foreign forces is legitimate in the eyes of the Afghan people. The current afghan government will continue to be seen as such as long as there are foreign forces there. Only the complete withdrawal of foreigners with their staff will enable this Afghan government to be seen legitimate.

All Afghans are opposed to the US presence. Recently, the tribal jirga rejected any relationship with the US and the other foreigners. This is set in stone and will remain unchanged. Anyone who opposes their views is going against the Afghan people. Now, they may try to tailor it to say yes, but that will never happen.

The Afghans are against the foreigners, and this is it. There is no discussion about this. I am not saying anything. The Afghan people have spoken. You want to make claims, go and have an argument with them. Secular lackeys will never have a place in Afghanistan.

I think Randoplh tries to be on both sides. He and others support the foreigners to some extent. Taliban are already at the gates of Kabul. Thats what is being said now.

you are not disrespecting them, you are disrespecting yourself. you are showing where you come from. what type of family you belong to and what type of upbringing you have had. you can have a different opinion than others, you can have a different set of beliefs than someone else, and you can put your case forward and have a discussion, what you can't do is, that you can't expect anything constructive to come out of name calling and and insults. is that why you have joined this forum for? of you have come here to set forth your ideas, your beliefs and back them up by bringing valid arguments and examples?

They should be respectful of these 2 because they are REMINDERS of
what a real Pashtana or any Afghan feels about the current problems.

This is the big picture: so what if one of them said some insult -
as IF some of these secular members are not insulting their religion
by defecting from it to join a pro=Western little cult, one might say.
For that's what it IS: cult of the Agha Khan's personality.
It's like the ones surrounding political dictators where the figure can do NO wrong
and is worshipped in place of God....

Think about THIS part first before worrying about any small insult dished out
rightly or wrongly to some PF member: what does THAT matter in the big
scheme of things?

well, you talk about the chaos that will ensue once the foreigners withdraw as if there isn't already chaos everywhere in Afghanistan as a result of their presence. You and BLS make this claim about the chaos that will result (the chaos of the 90s !!!!). Doesn't that count as support for foreigners? It does very much so.

They are not a source of stability, but the barrier to stability.
