    YouTube - Karzai is crying

i dont know whether to feel sorry for this guy or not. he has ran a horribly corrupt government but that has come as a result of deal making to keep the government intact. as mullah zaeef has said, he is not a cruel person but a bit oblivious to reality. but lol @ all the women crying.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

saying he is a great actor would be implying that he is actually competent, which i dont think he is.

as an individual I think people don't give him as much credit for what he has done for afghans as he deserves. Sure it wasn't as much as afghans needed or wanted but no one would have carried the country to progress from the slum that it was when the Taliban were around yo the extent he has. I have a feeling that people will realize this very soon in future once he steps down or he is replaced.
As an afghan I am disappointed. No matter what the reason be, crying in front of a nation is not how you run a country. he had the opportunity and potential to do a lot more that what he has done over the years.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

De parsi wayi. He is crying for the situation in Afghanistan, the never ending war, the interference from other countries. He is basically telling the afghans to stop fighting and lets work together. He is saying that he is afraid that his son would become a refugee and that he wants his son to grow up in Afghanistan, and be educated in Afghanistan, and go to a university in Afghanistan.
The irony is that pashtuns are mostly fighting and he should say this message to the pashtuns in pashto. My feeling is that he is saying this to show that his heart is with the afghans but this message(that he cares) is to the parsiwan audience.
But we all know even if Afghanistan is stable, his son would not go to school in Afghanistan but he would be manicured and pedicured in London or Washington DC for future puppet tasks to deliver the afghan people to the puppet master at wholesale price.

                              Ah Mr. Karzai,

In the future, Afghans are going to recount his reign as the second coming of the failed, inept, and fallen Shah Shujaa Sadozai. Both were fabulously corrupt and both are sustained in power on the back of a foreign empire. Both accomplished absolutely nothing.

History no doubt recounts that Mr. Karzai fled Afghanistan, like a great many of the soft handed, effeminate, oligarchs and left the rural masses to fight the onslaught of the russian juggernaut. Look to the names Maliki, Allawi, and Chalabi as Iraqi compatriots that did the exact same thing to their people... where they swindled their way into leadership. While the Iraqis suffered under crushing sanctions, these men wined and dined with the likes of Mr. Kristol.

Contrast this touted "founding father" of Afghanistan with the behavior of men like Washington, Patrick Henry, and the American founding fathers. Whatever one may think of the Americans, their leaders stayed and did not take the offer of the backdoor out by France.

In general, people respect those that want to lead when they are willing to demonstrate leadership and the will to sacrifice. Ironically, the Arab Mr. Bin Ladin actually did suffer battle wounds against the USSR's Red Army while Mr. Karzai wore his leisure suit and was the gopher paper boy to the factions discussing how they would best divide up Afghanistan once the masses had won the war. Here is a picture of him in his liesure suit days:

                              http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=...0&tx=62&ty=120

Take a look at how the rural people remember and follow strength and leadership that was demonstrated by someone who avoided the mudbathes of Italy (to where Zahir Shah fled) or the tea houses of Quetta (where Abdul Ahad Karzai munched on sugar almonds and drank honeyed green tea while complaining about the power seized from his ruling class):

                              http://english.aljazeera.net/video/a...315358960.html

Lets take a look at the evidence:

                              1) He bought back with him, the filth that terrorized the populace, in the form of Gul Agha Sherzai, the controversial former corrupt police chief of Kandahar, and a whole host of others. These folks, like Mr Karzai sat back and did not of the hard fighting and believed that all the spoils of the Russian war was their right.

                              2) His government is rivaled only by that of Mr. Zardari with whome he attempts to be competing for the most corrupt Asian leader award. He, like Mr. Zardari appears to be an advocate of nepotism over meritocracy, placing his brethren in the highest positions for which they are grossly unqualified:

                              http://www.nytimes.com/2010/10/06/wo.../06karzai.html

Here is the near complete list of crony family members Mr. Karzai has made sure to position within his corrupt government:

                              http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2....html?ref=asia

His inability to match words with deeds is baffling because the ratio is so far below 1:1 that it is a fraction with many zeroes between the decimal point and 1. Take for example this idiocy he demonstrated where he forgot that a puppet ought not make promises it cannot keep when he told the elders of Kandahar that there would be no Kandahar Offensive:

                              http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/8603023.stm

Note how they clearly tell him that no offensive is welcomed.... yet within weeks the offensive started full force.

Ah and the greatest irony is his supposed concern over civilian casualties and Quran burning. He knows that the same US military that has exacted these tolls is the same hand that props up his fledgling plutocracy and oligarchy in Kabul and that without it he is gone and done. So he makes sure to never actually live up to his promise to finish night raids.

Its rather sad when one attempts to compare his regime, funded by the whole world, and milking the whole world of its blood and treasure, with the Taliban. It is even more interesting that despite the nonfunctional infrastucture that his regime has provided...the Afghan people in the southern basin of Afghanistan still fight against what he attempts to impose:

                              http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...010302175.html

Note how the infrastucture immediatly degrades because the US picked a team of folks who were lazy oligarchs that had failed in the west and sought to reclaim their stature that they forfeit when they left their people to fight a war instead of leading them in such a struggle. They saved their skins but lost their soul and the shame hangs on their head like an albatross.
