You are a much older person and should be wiser than what you post. You do realize that people in a society are bound to be killing each other if there are not enough resources to go around. The problem in Afghanistan does not lie with the people, they are doing what they are expected to be doing and that is fighting to survive. The problem lies with the administrators. They are not doing what they are supposed to be doing which is providing to the people instead of stealing from them.
You are so naive to realize the truth and only see what the west wants you to see. Go read about how societies evolve and then learn how to talk to youngsters. These youngsters are the future and the way you talk to them has no productive effect.

I am naive for wanting to build more faith in humanity than it's ability to provide resources which it's obviously failing at doing at the moment?? We became the way we are because we were selfish. Not because our fields stopped growing or because out wells went dry overnight. We killed our. We killed our engineers and doctors and our farmers started growing pison because it valued more over food.
You can change the society by teaching people to be civil and share with each other.
