they are also trying to cheaply gain back a fictitious image as a moral superpower and justify all the torture of detainees in secret cia detention centers and in guantanamo, bagram, etc through this story line. white house officials are now bragging about how it was that very torture that led al qaeda detainee in a secret CIA prison in eastern europe to tip them off to bin laden's "villa".

obviously this is all concocted...but the point is they're molding a way to redeem their shattered global image despite the heinous crimes against humanity which they commited. in the mean time they're trying to boost US forces' morale whilst weakening that of taliban fighters in time for the spring fighting offensive, something to serve as a re-election bid for obama, something to cloak the shameful defeat they are witnessing in afghanistan before they withdraw, as a comeback to the mass taliban jailbreak, as an excuse to invade pakistan )which is the main reason they invaded afghanistan to begin with.) they installed an american crony govmt in pakistan prior to the afghanistan war to ensure their support for bringing hell upon their own country. surely no other pakistani government would have agreed to a war waged on afghanistan from pakistani territory as that is the equivalent of a suicide for pakistan and we are currently seeing it's near demise.

I don't know dari, but its easy to understand what he is saying, also the video did a good job with the pictures of US troops, and Pakistan officials. American Army, Pakistan Army, and all the rest, you can get the point what he is saying, that they will use Afghanistan as a field for whatever reasons they want.

That there will be intervention, and it will put Afghans at a disadvantage, and make brothers fight brothers. The only thing is he supported Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, so he is being hypocritical, on everything else besides his criticism for those few who came to remove foreigners, he got it right.

Its easy to understand because your Urdu is 70% Dari. You keep accusing the afghans as persianized but you guys are way more perianized than the afghans. I cant understand Dari but all my pakistani friends can understand it somewhat because of their Urdu background. Where do you think Urdu came from.

          Zawahiri
          Mullah Omar
          Gulbuddin
          or
          Haqqani

For Pakistan it is time to clean up its Back Yard.
It should handover all of your suggested terrorists.

no urdu is not a dialect of farsi far from it. It is an indic language and is mutually intelligible to hindi. The difference is that urdu is heavily turkicized, arabized and persianized. The name, though, comes from turkish for army.

For the thread, well time will tell, we can never be sure..either opinion is plausible.

^Hi idiot, I have level of sympathy for the notion of "bringing turmoil" if any of the Afghan isurgent leaders were to fall in to the U.S. hands and particularly if Pakistan hands them over: it will leave a lasting effect on Pakistan's image with Pashtuns of Afghan, I think.

On the issue of Urdu and Pashtu; well they are what they are. I don't think any one care which category Pashtu falls in (which by the way is from the Iranic languages), but Urdu is Indian language with a little Farsi, Trukish and Arabic vocabulary. Any way move on or do some research.
