    • ghundal, what is even ur position here? do u have any actual thoughts on this?

is there something hard to believe about americans going into pakistan and killing bin laden?
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

      • I just think Bin Laden has always been in Saudi Arabia because thats where his family is, and Pakistan has been handing over Al-Qaeda for dollars for some time. Thats what I think. And remember this has happened before during Bush time.

I dont think you understand the philosophy Matt. This more than anything shows me that you are living in bliss unaware of what this death means to his men. He went out exactly how he wanted to, with a bullett. They say that Khalid Bin Walid, Islam's most decorated and famous general, and desert tactician, lamented how he could not die in war. Its very similar to the Spartan "with your shield or on it philosophy."

In fact, there is an ayaah in the Quran that gaurds against taking refuge in a symbolic figurehead. It was a verse revealed after the Prophet's life was threatened in battle. It said to the Muslims: Muhammad is no more than man, many are the prophets that passed away before him. That verse is likely being read in many a middle eastern and Central Asian household tonight.

Do you know why? Its because there are a thousand other Osama Bin Ladins waiting and the perfect ingredients exist to bake those buns. Your woefully ignorant invasion of Iraq in and of itself created a generation of Iraqis that hate America. The sustaining of the Saudi Monarchy is a repeat of the 80s phenomena that led to the creation of version 1.0.

The sad thing is, this brand of militarism and interventionalism was not advocated by the founding fathers. But you and others just shrug it off. Principled men like Ron Paul speak out against it and know that this is far from over.

The Taliban and other insurgents are the same local inflammatory response. Remember, before Bin Ladin, the lightening rod was Azzam. Before Omar there were the others like Mullah Powindah against the Brits, and subsequently Faqir e ipi.

what does his family have to do with him? his family has basically disowned him and saudi arabia even cut off links to the taliban because of their harboring of him, hence they didnt like him...at all. so basically since ur right, bin laden is going to pop up tomorrow in a clip saying this was all a lie?

and also, what has happened during the bush days?

              • Bin Laden died in house near Pakistan's capital - Yahoo! News

ISLAMABAD – Osama bin Laden was holed up in a two-story house 100 yards from a Pakistani military academy when four helicopters carrying U.S. anti-terror forces swooped in the early morning hours of Monday and killed him.

i consider all media outlet biased, infact most publicise and pertetuate unverified events (mostly lies) and distort reality to the point of brainwashing [especially the major ones such as CNN, BBC, Reuters, Al Jazz]. All feed incoherent misinformation with maximum sensationalism. same with this story.

Was it in Abbotabad or Islamabad, Americans alone or with pakisi, all speculations.

one reliable way is if OBL's body is shown, DNA tests verified, check for time of death, pictures of the operation, . . . . was OBL sitting on a charpai when the supposed team burst in?

i suspect OBL died long ago, the information kept supressed to continue with operations in afghanistan, and released the information in a mysterious way, timed well with (doomed failure and) exit.

LOL. But he waited for it for ten year keeping himself under the tight ISI security.

You should know that Abu Azzam himself was assassinated by Osama. Watch the interview of his son in the In the footsteps of Bin Laden by Peter Bergen.

Lol. the same old tactics of creating hodgepodge through obscuring clarity.

Listen Mr. Barakzai! Mula Pawinda, Faqir IPi (who fought till the last against Punjab's subjgation) and Haji Saib Turangzai could have never ever subjugated to the servants of the British Queen, the Punjabi army who would daily offer salutation to the Union Jack. The so-called Pakistan sponsored Punjabi Taliban are something else.

Exactly, no one knows what really happened, its all speculation. everything that is officially said are said very carefully and has an intent. People here are taking the official word as if it were the word of God.

And the charpai theory is as valid as the official theory.
