  • US presnce is barrier to Reconciliation and Peace

I think peace is possible in Afghanistan, primarily, because the Taliban and other Afghans resistance movements have said they will hold talks once all foreigners have left.

They have said talks will happen only when foreigners have completely withdrawn. They are drana pashtuns, and their word is set in stone, and we all know the word of a Pashtun.

I don't believe there will be inter-ethnic strife as some theorists want us to believe.

Please, remember that the Taliban arose out of the chaos witnessed during and after the Soviet-withdrawal. Again, their reach is spreading across Afghanistan for the exact same reasons as before.

Talks will happen once the foreigners leave, so the foreign presence and the continuation of the failed war is the barrier to peace, security, and prosperity in Afghanistan.

Talks between all good Afghans who have not collaborated is the key to Afghan peace. I guarantee we will see Afghan prosperity in our lifetime.

I might add that I feel Karzai will have use to the Afghan nation provided he opposes the foreign presence, and does not enable it. He has built contacts across the world, and our people can make use of him for that purpose. In the meantime, I am sure talks will give proper Sharia rule. From what I have read, for talks to go forward, all foreigners have to leave, so they are the barrier to AFGHAN PEACE AND SECURITY. This will pave the way to an integrated system. Once Karzai has been made use of, he can either be exiled to his village in Kandahar, or go back to Paris. No remnants of those people who assisted in the misery of the Afghans can remain, and will have to leave. I don't think there will be a discussion about this. Noting from the rhetoric issued from Bismillah, I am sure he is ready to pack up.

War-lords (who have allied themselves with the foreigners) have killed and committed unforgivable crimes against all Afghans. Why do you think the Afghan resistance has now spread to the north (Mazar-i-sharif)?

It is in our blood to never tolerate foreigners. Hence, this is the first barrier to Afghan peace and prosperity.

Enlightening, yes this makes sense to underline the guarantees of the Taliban
      being 105 % RELIABLE.

Karzai could do some cultural projects from his village, perhaps,
and his international contacts would be utilized in a harmless way.
The Taliban could show their mercy and goodwill and not
prosecute him as a war-time collaborator with invaders.

      Who is Bismillah?

He is/was a criminal war lord. I guess a wiki profile can suffice

Bismillah Khan Mohammadi (or simply Bismillah Khan) was a former PDPA Parcham member , after the russian agreement he united himself with commandar Ahmad Shah Massoud. He has been the Interior Minister of Afghanistan since July 2010, following the resignation of Mohammad Hanif Atmar. He was nominated by Afghan President Hamid Karzai on June 26, 2010.[1] Among other things, he is responsible for securing the international borders of Afghanistan by the Afghan Border Police as well as maintaining law and order within the country by the Afghan National Police.
Bismillah Khan was previously the Chief of Staff of the Afghan National Army, a post he has held since 2002.[2]
Before the fall of the Taliban in 2001, Bismillah Khan was the Northern Alliance's Deputy Minister of Defense, under Ahmad Shah Massoud and later under Mohammed Fahim. After the fall of Kabul to the Northern Alliance, he was appointed commander of the 2000 man Kabul police force, and a member of the Kabul Security Commission. He is an ethnic Tajik from the Panjshir Valley.

          Mehrabani.
I have heard the name but don't keep up on these phony "ministers".
Interior Minister is a very scary position to take, too, out of all the "cabinet".
Who could trust such a man anyway who was a Parchami ?
That's telling how he was taken in by Massoud and "Northern Alliance"
          and rose so fast.
I wonder what info he had on those Massoud-ites to be in such a high position

          given his suspicious past.

Anyway what IS his rhetoric now? He's hinting at future plans to abscond to Europe, or has the mansion prepared for when Taliban return to office?

Re Mazar , I hope resistance spreads all the way to Termez and the farthest
corner of Badakhshan and among the Kirghiz in Wakhan if there are many left
and across the country to Zaranj...

if what you say is true, then the transition to peace would of went smoothly after the russians left.

there needs to be an agreement and soon, before the americans leave between all parties and neighboring countries. leaving it up to chance will just be a rewind to the civil war.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Lets stick to what concerns our people. You can continue to talk about Us-Pak wheeling and dealing to cover up their behind lol

In my view Pakistan's occupation of historic Afghan land is a direct threat to the very existence of the remaining land of Afghanistan.

Osama's alleged death (which the Taliban and Afghans have no verified knowledge of) has nothing to do with Afghanistan. Elkenberry continues to lie here as Afghans still control the majority of Afghanistan.

The pretext of 9/11 was used to invade Afghanistan, and now they are leaving.

Bottom line remains unchanged: the foreign presence is the barrier to peace and security in Afghanistan. This has not changed.

What makes you think if there is an agreement before the Americans leave, that the agreement will sustain if and that a big if the Americans leave.

What your plan then, to trick the Americans into getting it back for you.

Punjabi loyalist Paki Pathans who are the tools of the Paki Intelligence Agencies don't have the right to put forward their opinions in the internal matters of Azad Afghanistan, they should instead stick with Paki politics in Paki defence forums.

Anyone who is a Paki apologist can't be a friend of Pashtun Afghans. They won't gain much for their masters here, they are just wasting their times here.
