'stop the killing campaigns' aside by a picture not depicting death, just a face of an afghan child who has his or her head turned toward the camera maybe
Obama gather your weapons and leave afghanistan
Afghan children need schools, not drones
Stop the genocide
killing for resources is savagery
democracy is not forced at gunpoint
etc..
my suggestion would be to use a calm slogan for a graphic picture. and a more aggressive slogan for a passive photos. its a good technique..
i'm sure the people i'm going to ask will think of something more creative lol so just wait a little while
About the photos, I agree with ghundal that they shouldn't be bloody. It does make outside viewers turn away and thus not receive the message at all, perhaps.
Different people react differently.
But I disagree however about that one very evocative woman wearing green, a smaller sized photo a few pages ago. Her hand is raised in anger or sadness.
I thought was a striking woman who could represent the sorrow of Pashtun families pretty well.
If there are only men visible, then Western viewers may not relate particularly well.
They are so used to seeing women and might not be able to sympathize as much - IF this is a goal: to reach out and tap into the empathy of viewers of the demonstration or other activities.
