Well if he has pakistani roots, then obviously he will look at Afghan unity with great suspicion.

But I can't figure out why Pashtuns in Pakistan are worried about "tajiks" in Afghanistan. Our president is Pashtun for cyring out loud...our kings were pashtuns and historically Afghanistan has been Pashtun dominated...so naturally all pashtuns should unit under the banner of Afghanistan...whether they be in India, Pakistan or Mars.

The majority of us live in the west. In my highschool, from the cafeteria's ceiling a flag was hung from every nation that a student hailed from...there was more than 50 flags hanging. My own niche in the city is Chinese dominated. There is a bank of china, with a chinese supermarket filled with chinese workers who can't speak a word of english. Sometimes I feel like I am in china and not canada. This is how the world has evolved and shifted by economic forces. If NATO pulls out, and the "interm government" negotiates a proper solution with the AFghan insurgency, then we can expect the violence to dim down. And if that happens, once again, you will see a surge of migration to Afghanistan, from china, iran, uzbekistan, india and pakistan...and over time these people will identify themselves as Afghan. What people like wruyun represent is a racist mentality similar to the KKK of the Americas...although not as extreme. I've read some of the posts on youtube by these tajik-throlls... believe me, no tajik has ever bad mouthed pashtuns infront of me, and if they do, in the same way they do on the internet, they can expect a serious ass whooping. I hate racism, wherever it be. And racist people are ignorant to the core. In my highschool, at the time, there was a sticker that was posted virtually everywhere - a hand print of different colours, usually black, green, purple with the words "racism! stop it!". Education goes a long way because I could see that for the most part, people understood that racist attitudes were not welcomed. If these pashtun-bashing trolls are posting nonsense then we shouldn't feed them. Wruyun unwittingly has helped the cause of those trolls by publishing their comments.
Here on this forum we should discourage hate propaganda of all sorts. Be it against shias, arabs, pakistanies, indians, iranians etc. If we tolerate it then we open our self to hatred but if we counter it then we will stop isolating each other. However, criticism should be allowed and there is a fine line to that. We should be open enough to allow a pakistani from karachi to tell us what he dislikes of pashtuns...so long as his comments are constructive, in that we can learn something from it. This thread is different, because it perpetuates racial antagonism and turns the debate into a **** throwing contest...where wruyun is always champion.

Since he is a Paki Pukhtoon, his arguments are nullified because of it. har har har. He is ISI, har har har. Forget about refuting his points, just call him Paki and his argument Pakfied, har har har. I think when Taajiks were raping Afghan Pukhtoons, they were calling them Pakis as well. In fact, Taajiks constantly taunt Pukhtoons as PAKIS and Pukhto as a Paki language.

But Ahmed Shah Masood and Rabbani were the loyal pets of Islamabad before any Pukhtoon.

So Tajiks, why do you have a mind pattern that is anti-Pakistani? You might be against Pakistan politically without showing the animal mentality that causes you to curse people you don't like as being Paki sympathizers.

Well this is the issue here really right? Brother Alchemist and I have had a very good relationship. I do not know Nick that well... but he seems like a nice guy. However, where I think you guys can help and where some of this acidity can be neutralized is very simple. You guys have experienced some of it as well and should be able to relate.

Here goes:

I personally believe in fighting fire with fire. I think its ridiculous to hamstring one group of people with the Islam card saying: You cannot comment on anyone north of the Kabul line because that just proves you are a racist. Toramana does this to Wrayun all the time. Then, in about 56 posts a month the same group calls Arabs everything from Camel jockeys to worse... and anyone with an opposing viewpoint is called a "Paki."

You guys should look at it in context. Look here at what was heaped on Brother Ghaznavi by Parsiwaan:

So why should Wrayun be hamstrung from being able to sufficiently answer someone with an eye for an eye word when he gets called everything from Paki to Panjabified, etc.? And please spare me the Ghandi quote about the world going blind... its utterly useless. I believe in hearty and punitive reciprication.

The onlookers should also be intelligent and understand, when they have a good relationship with someone involved in the back and forth, that such verbage does not apply to them. If they choose to get involved, then it escalates and may become applicable out of anger.

So my advice is that if you feel Wrayun is exhibiting racist tendencies, I think we ought to try something concrete: Collect all the conversations here and count the number of times Paki is used as a slur and compare it with the number of times Tajik/Farsibaan has been used as a slur, count the number of times Zia Ul Haqism or Mullah Omarism is used as a slur and compare it with the insults on Mossoud and I bet you will see that Paki is used far more often.

Take young GraveyardofEmpires... he is 100% pure Afghan per the NATO definitions and he has had the epitaph Paki thrown at him by folks on here. No one steps in to counter that. The Admins do their best, but they cannot check every post.

And what you can do to show good faith is to ask the mods to step in and remove such posts beause they detract from the discussion.

Otherwise, I think its unfair to back Toramana up and allow the slur "Paki" to be used against anyone who is a contrarian.

Heck, if tomorrow we find out that Zia Ul Haqq said his favorite drink is water... why should Wrayun saying that he likes "water" be construed as being "Paki."?
