Afghanistan has always been at an important point in Asia for trade.

Even today it's important for oil pipelines and other things.

If you want an oil pipeline in Afghanistan, you need stability.

But everyone wants "their man" in Afghanistan. There are many countries which you seem to ignore on this. A list could be created, but it would be a lot bigger than the West and Pakistan.

This was during 2002 when the media followed this extensively.

However, you will not find Saleh, Atmar, or Spanta point this out (Tajik, Pashtun, Tajik). We must ask ourselves why?

Why do they not point this out? The reason is plain and simple.

The real issue is with Islam.

Time and time again, ethnic differences are exploited not only by outsiders, but also Afghans who happen to be secular most of the time.

We must ask ourselves, how come the Afghan resistance has now spread to the North??? Surely, you all will not tell me that Taliban in the North are Pashtuns??? They are mostly Tajiks who are fed up with the injustice of the US-NATO presence and the warlords there.

The opposition to foreigners and their servants whether they be pashtun, tajik, hazara, or uzbek is all over Afghanistan, and nothing can stop it.

If you need more evidence for the growing unity between all Afghans, you just have to look at a anti-US protest in Kabul.

Don't be fooled by this talk on Pashto and Dari usage. This has somehow taken root, but then why is it ok to speak in English???

Think? Did a few fools who engage in such secular talk get hoodwinked???

          Uknown-Paki,
First, you do not know the essence of Islam...second, you do not know the essence of secularism and you misinterpret Afghan secularism. You present a secularism version from Punjo perspective. Afghan secularists are never against religion or are for ethnic-centric. Honestly..in the case of implementation of democracy on the base of secularism principles, the Ikhwanis, Islamist and even paki clowns like yourself are free to prove that democracy is against Islam …..but under no circumstances Paki jerks whose family activly serve Punjos army like you can speak on behalf of Afghan Muslim nation.
If on the other hand you are convinced that the Quran itself is incompatible with a democracy, then by all means point it out. I have yet to see a strong case for this and will be happy to take any suggestions that would help alter my position.

Any version of Seculaism is a European Imperialist Doctrine set to maintain divide and rule of Muslim societies and pitting up different interethnic squabbles and creating ethnicity based "boogeyman" as a diversion. "Afghan Secularism" was Najibullah; who allowed Russians to urinate on naked Afghan women and kicked pregnant women to miscarry. While Pakistani secularism was bathing in the blood of 2 Million Bengalis.

Secularism and Democracy have nothing to do with Each other; in fact Secularism can be argued as the opposite of democracy because all Secular means is Anything not based on religion to rule; so a Tyrannc Capitalist Oligarchy which manipulates over the masses with its institutionalized Power Structure is perfectly acceptable in Secularism. It however is illegal completely in Islam.

This whole dynamic of accusing others of being Pakis; are exactly the type of Diversion tactic the Imperialist Europeans have used as a red herrings; It's no wonder that people who are Nationalists; are always sell outs who are really slaves of European Imperialism.

wa wa wa, wa jee wa, kya baat hai?

Ze Paki yam, no da sok da?

I find it really amusing that same "Lanaati" Amanullah had allowed more then half million Tajik, Uzbak and Turkmans of kingdom of Bokhara to settle in Northern Afghanistan....instead of moving them to south so they can get dissolved… Ahmad Shah Massod is descendent of one of these Amu-Jumpers.
Simpleton...Pashtonistan is afghan land with historical record...we were always one nation and no foreigner impose line can divide us! We were never part of one country with those Samarqandi, and Bokharis...most of these Turko-Mongol race have nothing in common with us...these are all refugees from Mongolia. You all have your country in shape of Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan so feel free to jump amu back.
There is a saying in kabul...wakhtee ke Morcha margee merasaa Baal mekashaa....Pedram will die a dogs death...just like other dogs...we Afghans have been to lenient with you ungrateful refugees.
There are countless other posts of yours where you have pissed in the face of your Afghan beradars aka Taajiks on more than one occasion. Lag sharam oka. I haven't been this insulting to any particular race or group, but I am Paki, because as a Pukhtoon from Pukhtoonkhwa, I have no right to point out to what Taajiks are saying about Pukhtoons online...but you have every right to piss on the name of Paki, Pakistani, and Punjaabis? On top of that, you can insult Taajiks too, when ever it fits your emotional rant....? Why this duplicity?

You sound more Paki, than I do in above posts of yours. I'm sure your Taajiks beradars don't appreciate you calling them ungrateful dogs...yet you talk about Afghan unity?

This is where the confusion is. You need to sort your own internal demons before you can speak ill of others. Before you even point at me as a "Paki", get rid of the "Pakiness" from within yourself.

Also, no matter how much you hide under different names, styles, or font sizes, a confused Parsiwaan "Bashtoon ast" is a confused Parsiwaan "Bashtoon ast".

Tajiks means lots of ethnic/racial groups from Afghanistan.

                  so What kind of Tajiks?

                  The native Farsiwan Tajiks?

                  The Arab-mixed others, Tajiks?
                  The Native-Afghano Pamiri Tajiks?

Its very wrong to generalize. We all have different opinions, and as far as I know from Farsiwan prospective we would do anything for development of building our Afghanistan just as a Pashtu speaker would. Anything we weant and say must include the Pashtun's side as well, and from what I know majority of us are anti-Taliban, but we are not Anti-Pashtu, its only shame a greater shame to hate on people based on their language specially if we share same blood line or claim of ownership over Afghanistan or regions of Afghanistan. The fact that majority of 27% of Afghanistan has been labelled as "Tajik" is same as "Pashtun", people are simply divided based on languages not based on Race, culture, or Tredition. If you think you can get away but just saying the word "Tajik", you are doing the same as others which is exactly the anti-Afghans from wikipedia/Iranica wants. As one brother you are "Spitting on Air" only later you will notice that someone carrying your last name or your Pashtu speaking tribal name is on the opposite side. You might ask why? Well too late you just created division between the people.

Many of us Farsiwans know our roots simply as Afghan but some of us don't and I would consider my self as an Example of being an anti-Pashtun in the past but thanks god, I am not anymore. I am a farsiwan, and I am proud, but just because I am a farsiwan take pride of Dari does not make me a Tajikistani, Irani or Ismaili.

BTW those of whom you seem to have problem in Wikipedia are does not represent majority of Tajiks. Those are either Shias/Iranians or just Ismailis and tajikistani immigrants. They do not represent the Aimaq, Arabo-mixed Afghans nor the Farsiwans or recent Pashtunized Tajiks.

Nick, you are blaming your problems on others, you are scapegoating them on Shia's and Iranians. I have personally dealt with Parsiwan/Taajiks when I was helping certain Afghan communities. So I know of all the internal politics at first hand.

Now, as for who or what is a Taajik, and which one, you seem to confuse yourself with semantics. A Taajik is a Taajik, Parsiwan Parsiwan, no mater where his padar padar came from. That means that all those Taajiks that you listed, are Taajiks at the end of the day. They associate with the Taajik identity first and foremost before associating with any other. A Parsiwan/Taajik whose great great grand dad was Pukhtoon, Arab, Turk, Jew, alien from above, is still a Pasiwan/Taajik. Is no different than a real Taajik or Persian.

You are confusing ethnicities with race. What you listed, were ethnicities, and these ethnicities are shared by the same group of people, genetically overlapping.

Yet another confusing aspect of your relationship with us that sometimes you are Pukhtoon, and other times you are a Parsiwaan/Taajik. You can't be both. Just like you can't be a Bihari Khan, claiming that your par dada came from Afghanistan. Or a Punjaabi Khan, Sindhi Khan, Kashmiri Khan, Hamid Gul, or any other lunda who claims to be a Pathan. Or any other Khan or descendant of Pathan. At the end of the day, these people serve the communities that they are born in. Just like Bihari UP Rohilla Khans of Karachi slaughter Pukhtoons, Prasiwan "Pashtuns" like Abdullah Abdullah helped in slaughtering of Pukhtoons in the North.

I know Hindu Durranis and Lodhis from India, who claim "Pathan" heritage, but nothing they do, or represent culturally is similar to Pukhtoons. Most of the Urdu speakers in Karachi claim "Pathan" lineage, Yousafzai in particular, but they don't shy from putting a bullet in a Pukhto speaking Pukhtoon when Aftab Bhai needs it to be.

The reason why many members are here, on PASHTUNFORUMS, and not on AFGHANFORUMS, or AFGHANIFORUMS, is because they been there and done that. That's the reason why you might be here.

Don't be upset over what I did, is pointing out to the treacherous and malicious statements made by your fellow Taajiks/Parsiwan about Pukhtoons. I didn't dig that article up out of my arse, nor did I join that site pretend to be a Taajik. Nor is it old news. It is fresh, very relevant and recent.

If you want to be upset, be upset at your Taajiks beradars, who display such venomous bigotry towards Pukhtoons.

Take a look at how they attempted to savage Ghaznavi for merely telling the truth as he saw it in his own research. Look at the filth, the utter crap, and lunacy that comes out of their mouths at him. And mind you, Ghaznavi does not even take an Islamist tilt on the issue... he is just a man that sees the world as it is... not as he wants it to be (i.e. he does not live in a fool's paradise):

This Hindu "monster" you bring up is only alive because the Pakistani army needs a reason to continue it's illegitimate khairaati rule over the masses. Hindus wouldn't want a self-destructive entity like Pakistan to be a part of it's prosperous future. On the other hand, Pakistanis can't seem to get enough of Hindus. The influence of Indian soft power is so great that Hindu culture is a norm in many Pakistani circles. The cultural impact is making inroads into Pukhtoon society by mediums owned and maintained by non-Pukhtoons such as AVT Khyber. Pukhtoons of Pakistan have more reasons to fear being "Hindunized" through Pakistan than Afghanistan.

Pakistanis shouldn't fear Hindus or Indians, the identity of Pakistan itself is an Indian one.

LOL Hold on you are just mixing lingustic Ethnicity with Race. I don't care about any languages other than Arabic, I am nor Tajik and nor Pakhtun, but Afghan. I am proud Afghan. Simple and clear, people often ask me to be specific and I guess that's where some people like u fall into. I am a pashtun if i was still speaking Pashtu, that's all I know, and I would still be Tajik if I was either from Turkistan or if I did not knew of my backround and did had affaliation with Afghan race, culture or its tribes. Pashtun from Pashtuwan meaning Pashtu speakers and Farsiwan meaning Farsiwans. Racially I belong to Afghans, Langustically I belong to Ethnic Farsiwans, I hope this is clear for you. But unfortunatly like most people you might ask tribally to which group i belong? LOL tribally I am half Suliman khel of Ahmadzia and half Ghura Khel.

If you want to be ignorant be so. Your wrong Pakified accusation over Abduallah Abduallh only shows your naiveness. Stop reading anti-afghan newspapers and come to your senses. I personally have meet Abduallah Abduallah, I would never have said this, but it seems i know people in here who knows me, if i said openly its not a big issue. When he came in Canada I visited him actually his family members live in Canada and I am friends with them.
Abduallah did not kill and nor represented himself in such a situation. If fact he doesn't even know how to fire lol so cut the crap about him, and stop reading BS.

I am very well aware of their numbers not sure about you Pakified "Hindu" version but sure there are 35 million Muslim Pathans in India who claims to be from our land. So Why are digging there?

From what your saying this doesn't make sense
"I have personally dealt with Parsiwan/Taajiks when I was helping certain Afghan communities. So I know of all the internal politics at first hand."

Been in the cyber world for so long and also my many visits/staying in Central Asia, Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan I consider this BS sorry but I have grown old with these kind of low statments. So feel free to be professional rather just saying same thing over and over in one sentence.

Politics is not what seems, in fact politics doesn't have the true face to look at, if you are talking about Abduallah Abduallah, then sure get to know him first. Sit with him face to face and ask him simple questions, and you only get answers that for the next 10 years you will never forget. Only beg that you are not a slave for ISI. BTW he is not in politics and he won't be anytime soon, cause many things are going to happen before he comes in. Now I am not a big fan of him, but i know he's not a killer yes a traitor he maybe so are 90% of people involved in the Afghan government, however his motives and plans only i can discuss with someone face to face or private not in open forum.

Dear wryun there I am very sure that you might of visited their forum which they created and it doesn't have anything going on anyways cause everything seem too much of Ismaili and shai going on.

Today Afghanistan's 70% of Media is own by Shias and that includes TV/newspapers, and despite being Shai they remain low and slowing cutting the necks of Afghan unity. Feel free to read them although general, but one thing for sure control over Afghanistan is what they want by any means. So the choices are you rule or let them rule, the question is who is smart enough to rule. So far one person who has gain support from both side Farsi or Pashtu and that is an Hazara. LOL yep but because he is Hazara he won't be given a chance.

"In Politics you need big mouth, and anyone with big mouth will win, but does big mouths leads to any action? The problem today is not unity but rather a leader. We can be presented as united if we have someone to speak for us, in fact we run our daily lives as united as ever, yes we are united." Mir Ahmad Janbaz

If you want to take such crap being said by some shai on the site then feel free to visit their sitess and make sure you have some fuel to burn your computer lol

So wryun bradar do something constructive with your time for a change.

                            ^Nick,

Instead of refuting my points, you went about how long you been online, where you been, and what you personally consider yourself. Those things are irrelevant to the subject.

No matter what your personal relationship with the mass-murderer Abdullah Abdullah is, the guy has a face of a sanda, a makar mordar murderer, which I can't forget as he was the posterchild of the Washington campaign in Afghanistan. You can call me "Paki" all you want, but you can't take away from the fact that after the US invasion of Afghanistan Mr. Abdullah Abdullah was directing hellfire missiles on Pukhtoon towns and villages. He was the mouthpiece of the war, and constantly on TV painting a precise propagandistic image needed to continue the slaughtering of hundreds and thousands of Pukhtoons under the pretext of "War on Terror".

He was questioned on CNN, when he was the directing point for the US military machine on the ground, whether he was ethnically biased towards the Taliban who are majority Pukhtoons, to which he replied "I am also part BASHTOON", to which many of my Afghan Pukhtoon colleagues laughed at, and later cringed in disgust. I know some Safi Afghan Pukhtoons, who would love to meet Abdullah Abdullah to rearrange his face.

So beradar, for a change, try to make sense. And if you can, refute my points instead of giving me reasons why you wouldn't. Otherwise don't bother.

And yes, those evil Shia, they really are trouble makers. Although the Taajiks in Mazar that plundered, raped, pillaged Pukhtoons in the hundreds of thousands, ditching them in mass graves, were all Sunni. I know this, because a particular Taajik clique, the Ansari family, were boastful of their deeds and how the Taajiks have many Pukhtoon concubines in the North after killing their men in front of them like animals. Most of whom were not even Talibs, just ethnic Pukhtoons.

But of course, they were under the spell of the evil Shia. I get it.

Well if he has pakistani roots, then obviously he will look at Afghan unity with great suspicion.

But I can't figure out why Pashtuns in Pakistan are worried about "tajiks" in Afghanistan. Our president is Pashtun for cyring out loud...our kings were pashtuns and historically Afghanistan has been Pashtun dominated...so naturally all pashtuns should unit under the banner of Afghanistan...whether they be in India, Pakistan or Mars.

The majority of us live in the west. In my highschool, from the cafeteria's ceiling a flag was hung from every nation that a student hailed from...there was more than 50 flags hanging. My own niche in the city is Chinese dominated. There is a bank of china, with a chinese supermarket filled with chinese workers who can't speak a word of english. Sometimes I feel like I am in china and not canada. This is how the world has evolved and shifted by economic forces. If NATO pulls out, and the "interm government" negotiates a proper solution with the AFghan insurgency, then we can expect the violence to dim down. And if that happens, once again, you will see a surge of migration to Afghanistan, from china, iran, uzbekistan, india and pakistan...and over time these people will identify themselves as Afghan. What people like wruyun represent is a racist mentality similar to the KKK of the Americas...although not as extreme. I've read some of the posts on youtube by these tajik-throlls... believe me, no tajik has ever bad mouthed pashtuns infront of me, and if they do, in the same way they do on the internet, they can expect a serious ass whooping. I hate racism, wherever it be. And racist people are ignorant to the core. In my highschool, at the time, there was a sticker that was posted virtually everywhere - a hand print of different colours, usually black, green, purple with the words "racism! stop it!". Education goes a long way because I could see that for the most part, people understood that racist attitudes were not welcomed. If these pashtun-bashing trolls are posting nonsense then we shouldn't feed them. Wruyun unwittingly has helped the cause of those trolls by publishing their comments.
Here on this forum we should discourage hate propaganda of all sorts. Be it against shias, arabs, pakistanies, indians, iranians etc. If we tolerate it then we open our self to hatred but if we counter it then we will stop isolating each other. However, criticism should be allowed and there is a fine line to that. We should be open enough to allow a pakistani from karachi to tell us what he dislikes of pashtuns...so long as his comments are constructive, in that we can learn something from it. This thread is different, because it perpetuates racial antagonism and turns the debate into a **** throwing contest...where wruyun is always champion.

I have only been referred to that from an NWFP ISI newspaper no-where else maybe other western newspaper who might of just copied this Pakified version.

Yes I know that Dostamis took land from Pashtu speaker. The Pashtuns make up 35% of Balkh province and 25% of Mazar-e-Sharif alone so being in a city as Mazar is 40% Uzbeks, actually Uzbeks own Mazar-e-Sharif is a fact that I know of. But needless to say the land owners were mostly Pashtuns. In fact until April 09, 3 years ago i was still in AfghanistanI have been to Mazar 3 years ago for news years day as well as other part of Afghanistan. I have seen it from ground. Your pakified story of northern Alliance does not mean "Tajiks" only but mostly Dostamis who until this day his party is so strong that Karzai had to ware his chapan lol, speaking of power.

Instead of refuting my points, you went about how long you been online, where you been, and what you personally consider yourself. Those things are irrelevant to the subject.
Bc what you are telling me is same crap presented by anti-afghan back years ago. Hearing same thing over and over people get tired don't you think so?

but you can't take away from the fact that after the US invasion of Afghanistan Mr. Abdullah Abdullah was directing hellfire missiles on Pukhtoon towns and villages. So you blame him because he was a farsiwan? Well the fact the he was a good speaking and his english was not bad is fact well know to everyone. But again you are pointing fingers at him and blaming him because he was a Tajik Right. Don't you have any shame for claiming to be a Pashtun and knowing that most of government officials who still order of firing rockets to people lol Pashtun villiages all over southern Afghanistan again under the baner of "War on Terror" what are you trying to get into? seriously last post your so called Tajik are Tajiks and all same fighting and killing Pashtuns. As a Pashtun don't you feel any shame that you people are 55-65% and that we are 25-27% and here for 5000 years this land belong to Pashtuns as its claim by Pashtuns themselves and here we the Tajiks are divided as being so many kind of Tajiks can catch up to why we are called tajik and here we are now conquring Pashtun land? Indeed you are either not a Pashtun or lost in the mids of ISI properganda. Don't forget millions of Pashtuns don't like Taliban as well. So remember simple facts before you start firing.

But of course, they were under the spell of the evil Shia. I get it
