When a country's envoy can threaten you to "bomb you back to stone-age", how hard would it be to free one guy?

Exactly. Its sad that on a Pashtun forum, you are the one that makes the most sense. Trust me I completely understand you are not endorsing all that I say, but I certainly respect the logic of what you wrote. These red hattered ANP and their slime laced agenda burns through each post.

Take the case of Mr Paul Bernard, a situation that mirrored OJ’s and caused ripples through the Midwest per its divergent outcome. Mr Bernard was a brilliant midlevel engineer who had neither DNA nor any other evidence except circumstantial evidence at best linking him to the murder of his wife. It appears that OJ jumped through a major loophole that Mr. Bernard, a midlevel engineer could not exploit; rather, Mr. Bernard’s loophole became a noose. That loophole appears to be widened by money. If you can afford Mr. Kardashian, Mr. Shapiro, or Mr. Boies, you can perhaps widen that loophole enough to jump through scott free.

        http://www.woodtv.com/dpp/news/local...bernard-appeal

Moreover, where was Mr. Willingham’s innocence before guilt? Oh, because that concept you touch on, you know the one about innocence before guilt… it didn’t exist for him in Texas.

        This makes no sense.

If you can't relate to what I'm trying to get you to understand, just don't bother.

Finally, you err when you attempt to say that Shariah supposes guilt before innocence. Why then the four witnesses? Why then the ability swear oaths to deliver one’s self from peril? Why then did Aishah, mother of the believers herself have the chance to defend herself to her husband? One ought to be proud that Cameron Scott Willingham might have been spared under shariah even if Davis
And where did I say that Sharia supposes guilt before innocence?

Read, try to understand: (my previous post)

"AFAIK, it was not possible to PROVE oj was guilty. There is the presupposition in secular law (and Islamic law) that people are innocent until proved to be guilty."

So, reading is not your strongpoint.

Mr. Davis’s fate is the obvious outcome of the inner dealings of two nation states that worked out a backroom deal. This is blatantly clear from the suicide of the wife of the killed. Family members noted that she completely grasped that no justice would come her way. It took Amy Davidson of the New Yorker to speak out on her behalf. The conclusion was foregone. No details are given as to which blood relatives accepted the deal, where the money went, and how this whole thing was brokered.

In fact, you look completely assinine considering that the Obama administration (paragon of that secular virtue you tout) so much as admitted Mr. Davis’s guilt and actually vied for diplomatic immunity. What bigger loophole against justice is there than that? And they attempted to the very last to exploit it.
I'm not going to bother with this, if you can't be bothered, or aren't capable of understanding what I'm saying.

          Not true in this case.

Sharia Law in Pakistan ALLOWED the person to get off completely free, provided a small fine was paid. Sharia Law rewards the rich with immunity to kill whoever they want. Is that just?

            Absolute nonsense, as usual.

I have every reason to believe that corruption is endemic in the court systems all over South Asia. Please get this through your (rather wide) skull.

In this case, the person was found GUILTY. Whether the courts "set him up" or not is irrelevant. The important bit is that now the courts needed to give him a punishment.

So the Secular System said "you go to jail". No you can't pay money to get off free (all of Pakistan was watching to see, so they couldn't release him).

Ah.. but Sharia Law came to the rescue of course!! Sharia Law said "you don't need to go to jail for murder, young man". "Just pay a little ransom (actually not you personally), and you can go away a free man"

So whether Pakistan's court system is a joke or not is irrelevant. It is a plain fact that your Sharia System that you've all been championing is what let him off the hook unjustly. It's people like you that cause all the problems in the first place.

The real question is why were these boys chasing him.. or did he just snap and start shooting at people and only these guys got hit?

I'm not wasting much time. Just posting in between things. I'm definitely not trying to convince anyone, as dumb people are best left dumb so they may be identified more easily.

You've got my point anyway. The person that started the thread was yelling about ISI and Pakistan Army, when it was none of those that let him off the hook, but the Sharia Law. Without Sharia Law, there would be no justification for releasing him. These bright bulbs don't even know that what they post contradicts what they advocate.

I'm referring to the 1995 case when he wasn't found guilty.

He was found guilty of something later and went to prison. Where's the problem.

The two cases are not comparable. I feel like an idiot having to explain the clear differences that you're not capable to grasp.

This is the important bit, for those of you that require it to be repeated twice.

There is no Sharia law in pakistan. Have someone read to you about how Nixon got off scott free when Ford pardoned him. Have someone read to you about Scooter Libby got off scott free when Bush pardoned him. Have someone read to you about how Cheney shot whittington, and then it was whittington who appologized to the man(cheney) who shot him.

Get this through your empty skull, sharia law did not free him. Backroom dealings freed him. Are you pretending to be stupid are are you seriously this stupid.

All of what you said is irrelevant because the court was a circus. It was not a sharia court. The CIA and ISI were the prosecutor, defence, judge, jury, and executioner. Everything was staged.

You have got to be kidding me about your incompetence. I am also referring to 95 case where he was found innocent in the criminal proceedings of the murder of nicole and ronald goldman but found guilty in the civil proceedings of the same murders. Tell me do you know the difference of the two proceedings.

Mara, the families are Punjaabi, it is very possible that they took money, and other services in exchange for Raymond's release. I have family, that has been through certain issues i.e. accidental deaths, or feuds etc. in Punjaab where Punjaabis made a big sho sha, they want badla, taasa toosa, but in the end, all they wanted was money.

This is not Pukhto, or Pukhtoonwale, where we want badal. This is Punjaab. These people think about their own interest, what can they get out of it? So there is no surprise. 2 million dollars, plus settlement in Western countries? That's a huge deal.

The only people in that region that can stand up against any monetary incentive are Pukhtoons, where badal is more important then the wealth of the whole world. This is why in Pakistan, the Pukhtoons are fighting, and same thing in Afghanistan. However, in Afghanistan Pukhtoons are the heart and back, but in Pakistan, heart is Punjaabi (not brave), back is Pukhtoon (brave)....this is why Pakistan is divided.

Pakistani government, leaders and army, has sold their own Muslim sisters like Affia Saddique, pa aghee de sook ghairat na leree. In fact, Afghan police officers showed more ghairat on her behalf while she was in prison than whole of Pakistani army. Afghan police officers fought her interrogators in Kandahar, where she had to be moved to Kabul because of it. In Kabul, the prisoners showed more ghairat for her than the whole of Pakistani nation, they went on hunger strike.

There is no surprise here. It was about money and incentives from the start. Punjaabis and badal? hahahahahahahahah lolllll right. I don't have an intention to sound stereotypical, or generalize, but that region is more about materialistic things, and the culture is not big on such issues like badal etc. whether that is good or bad, we can judge by our status.

Gharaitee Afghanan/Pukhtanaah khwar dee, hewad ye khwar da, kor re raang da, O' Punjaabyaan pa begharaitay dalaarai gatee, zan joraee.
