being attacked by animals is no excuse to start acting like them. if they sink to that level, they might as well be one of them.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

i think it is so funny how some people are always so hell-bent upon proving how bad the "taliban" are, when in reality, many of those identified as such are angered villagers acting in an extreme way to an extreme situation.

people's hell-bentedness on proving how evil the taliban are instead of spending their energy denouncing the one's who provoke and take the lead in this chaos to begin with causes one to question such people's true intentions.

a civilian movement is a civilian movement, and a national army or government is separate.

there is no excuse for a state organization expected to uphold their treaties to act in accordance with humanitarian law and the geneva conventions. to be engaging in this medieval- style viciousness and brutality.

since they are the ones provoking a war fought in self-defense by the victim population, and are the ones fighting in otherwise private territory hundreds to thousands of kilometers away from them, it is illogical and stupid of them to whine when they receive a taste of their own medicine.

Muslims have beheaded people for ages.

There is no prohibition in Shariah on beheading people.

Sissy's and wimps who have a problem with beheading should go and study history. You might stumble upon some figures you respect and revere who use to behead people like it was nothing special.

But now, since we have turned into Seinfield watching sissys and have nightmares after having a bleeding nose we call a practice which is an Islamic tradition "babaric" etc.

Btw, Amirul Momineen prohibited the production of such videos of beheadings.

But there is no shari'i prohibition on beheading spies and leaders of the enemy army.

the beheadings shown here were not just like any.

these ones, were not done in one swift blow to the neck and were done with a blunt knife causing a lot of un-necessary and tortuous pain to the victims who were muslims, and most likely uneducated and very poor, thus their acceptance of the job.

rasulullah (saw) never condoned this type of agonizing and aggression of prisoners. he (Saw) himself repeatedly set prisoners free even during war time.

if beheading is to be done, it must not be such as to inflict heavy suffering.

even in iraq, the arabs who would do this always made sure to use a sharp instrument and did so with one blow.

i am not condoning beheading at all, but simply am outlining the difference between the allowable and shari'i ways.

this certainly was inappropriate which is where factors such as a lack of education and correct knowledge of islam come into play.

all the while, the entire blame ultimately rests with the outside forces responsible for this chaos wreaked upon our lands and people and our energy must be devoted to denouncing them first and foremost.

This double standard is not good.
because we all know that foreigners are killing afghans, there is no debate on that.

the double standard is when talibs here post videos of civilians being beaten up or killed by nato/pakis saying there was no due process and that they might of been innocent. when a talib kills a person they dont say anything and assume they are guilty and have been tried. then they say talibs cant be guilty of anything because the country was invaded. they must also think massoud/hekmatyar/sayaf/mazari/others were blameless for their crimes in the civil war because it was the result of the russian invasion years later?

these people have too much pride to admit that BOTH sides are wrong. in islam, enemy aggression does not allow muslims the right or excuse to disregard islamic limits in war.

I have a question: which one of you have ever beheaded an animal?

If you have witnessed the sacrificial slaughtering of a sheep, you must have noticed that they are not using a sword, but a knife.

And when the knife is sharp enough, still, it takes quite a while the animal is beheaded. This is because there are bones and tissue which needs to be cut. It is not butter.

Similarly, when beheading a human being, when you use a sharp knife, it will take quite a while untill your done. And no, I am not experienced in this field. I am just using common sense.

And who says that you must use a sword? As soon as the knife cuts through the skin of the throath very important vains that carry blood into the brain will be cut. And then there is no blood flowing into the brain, the brain does not feel any pain or anythign else.

Therefore, claiming that beheading is agonyzing is just nonsense.

It is a fact that beheading is very unpleasant to watch. I cannot imagine myself beheading someone. It's very difficult to imagine how you can behead someone with your own hands.

This is why people come up with all sorts of weird stories.

But lets be honest to ourselves, we are only bothered because we are not use to seeing these things.

Beheading a spy who is convicted of spying or an enemy commander is not inhumane or barbaric.

It is barbaric to go and spy on people and have them bombed and killed. It is inhumane to allow people to kill people for a few dollars.

It is inhumane and barbaric to use depleted uranium on helpless people.

It is inhumane to sit on your lazy chair and judge people's action while you have never suffered from foreign occupation in your land.

Most of the critics of taliban are either apostates or outspoken secularists. The very same people who wish for death and distruction of poor and helpless people.

We shouldn't judge reality by looking at a disturbing video. We need to see the big picture.

These so called peace loving humanists are the worst criminals of all. For the sake of music, dancing, free mixing and money, they support invasion of our land, massacre of our people and millions of starving children.

They become caring and sensitive when they watch someone spying and getting caught.

But they are stonecold and when millions of people suffer.

You expect Muslims to be the best in all possible ways, otherwise you will trashtalk them on some forum and accuse them.

No muslim is perfect. There is no such a thing as a perfect Muslim. And all of us have many flaws and mistakes.

However, when there is a war between haqq and baatil, a Muslim is supposed to be allied with people of haqq. Even if the people of haqq are full of flaws like the Taliban.

From what I have seen myself and from what I have heard, the numbers of Taliban victims are extremely exaggerated. And it is a sin to believe the kuffaar or even a faasiq when they bring you a message.

So your drama about Taliban killing people etc is nothing but empty words.

You are just complaining. You are not saying anything.

If someone bombs my home or kills any of my relatives and I know that someone from my area has helped the people who have done this to me, I will first find the one who helped my enemies, once I am done with him, I will go after the others.

But I guess you lot will go and give the spy and the collaborator a box of candies and flowers.

And how do you know there was no trial to determine guilt or innocence?

You are too quick to draw a conclusion here, but when I talked about the bomb in the toy which injured an Afghan child (this was a US newspaper saying this), you quickly doubted it, and told me to post the link. I posted the linik, and then I think you made up some theory that the toy was part of some rocket debris.

Please, you can't have it both ways. I provided you with the source (which was a US source), and then you still denied that it was a toy.

Maybe, you will say the injured Afghan boy is a liar??

i dont know if ur slow, or what. read what i said all over again.

as for the story u are mentioning. yes i doubt something when the article it self says that 400,000 people have been killed in floods. historically the last flood to kill that many people was in china almost 100 years ago. plus, i never said anything about rocket debris. i dont know anything about the story to take a guess like that. also u are saying its from a US paper as if that is supposed to give it credibility? the story was a snippit from an online paper about some benefit concert, the thing about the boy was like 1 sentence. also, dont u consider US media as propoganda? why are all ur articles from western sources?
