what i dont like is that pashtuns who are afghans start calling themselves pakiz and then paki pathans and then after a while they forget who they are and just say im from pakistan.A few tips for instant happiness:Originally posted by Luffy View PostWhen pakistanis can be called pakis, then afghanistanis can also be called as afghanis.
1. Download Firefox.
2. Install a dictionary (UK/US English for example).
3. Reboot your machine.
Make a couple of adjustments.
4. Then start browsing. When you come back to PashtunForums and you decide to respond to a comment, every time you misspell a word like "Pakistani" or "Afghan", a squiggly line will show up under the word.
5. Right-click, and fix.
6. Brotherhood restored.

Why Afghani Pashtun hate Pakistan?
Because they are Afghans.
There are a lot of factors, but the main factor is, we are talking about a specific regional mentality here, which is, blame all your failures on others.
It's a psychological thing among certain nations in the region (Pakhtuns are prone to it too), that some how they think of them as superior, and cannot withstand the fact that they can screw up. So when they do screw up and lose everything in the process, they point a finger elsewhere, che "da de agha da lasa usho".
Hence decades and decades of misery in the lives of such nations, as they don't learn from their mistakes, but keep on making the same mistake over and over again by pointing a finger elsewhere and sitting like ducks che "da kho bal cha ukro mong sakha".
And they are very thankful to the term "scapegoat".
"Pakistan is blamed for proxy wars, cold wars, terrorism etc.", they can be further categorized into sub-sections for each category of Afghans having such thoughts:
1- The common Pakhtuns of Afghanistan
2- Non Pakhtuns of Afghanistan
3- Nationalists of Afghanistan
The Cat-1 are those who have strong links with Pakistan. They do not hate the country due to many reasons, mainly, Muslim brotherhood, understanding the need of shelter and support in wars against outsiders and Pakhtun bond.
The Cat-2 consists of all Non Pakhtun ethnicities of Afghanistan whom think Pakistan has supported Pakhtuns of Afghanistan to overpower them.
- They also blame Pakistan for supporting Talibans against them because of Pakistan's second largest ethnic majority is also Pakhtuns, who have strong bond with Pakhtuns in Afghanistan who in turn have the historic animosity with the Northern Alliance et. al.
The Cat-3 blames Pakistan because it thinks Pakistan is (somehow) occupying Pakhtunkhwa, which they think belongs to them (they share this view with other nationalists within Pak). So to keep the "occupation", they think Pak is destabilizing Afghanistan so Afghans don't ask for their lands back. (Mind that, non Pakhtun afghans does not care about Pakhtunkhwa or getting the land back, it's just the minority of nationalists).
- They also share the similar thought of some Non-Pakhtuns about Pak supporting Mujahideen against Communist Soviets, thinking it was the cause of destruction in Afghanistan, and that if Mujahideen wer enot supported, Afghanistan wouldn't have been in this miserable state it is today.
And since Nationalists brought Communism to Afghanistan, they couldn't accept Pak role to support Mujahideen against Communist Soviets.
The dream was shattered by the Mujahideen and Pakistan for those communist nationalists, hence it bred a staunch hatred for Pakistan among the quarters of Nationalists.
I also would like to point one very important factor regarding Nationalists that, they supported Soviet Union when it was bombing Afghanistan, and now they support America, whom are carpet bombing Afghanistan with the low intensity nuclear bombs, for the same dreams, they had visioned while supporting communist Soviet Union.
Hence, their support for the ANP, whose very leader went running to United States before the election and came back all happy!
So all the accumulated hatred among the two categories (nationalists + non-pakhtuns) have resulted in a total resentment towards Pakistan, by blaming all their collective failures on a scapegoat called Pak.
The collective failures here are "policies" of the both categories that pushed Afghanistan to total destruction, and then the common mentality of the region, blame others for all your failures, kicked in and brainwashed the Afghan masses, even if they are living inside Pakistan, or those, who have never seen Pakistan or Afghanistan ever in their lives (born and raised in other countries), yet they had been taught one thing, that is "Hate Pakistan", why, they don't know, because the history is not taught to them, rather present is distorted and showed to them to breed a generation breathing hate.
Laslty and more importantly...
One must differentiate between the categories and their reasons to hate Pakistan, and should not blame all Afghans for everything the Nationalists and non-Pakhtun ethnicities of Afghanistan are saying/doing.
And all this, does not mean that Pakistan is like an innocent baby cleansed by 3.25% skimmed milk. Pakistan has its own share of mistakes in handling situation that led to such hatred among masses in Afghanistan.
So everything should be seen in the light of history, events taking place, parties involved in the conflict and the reasons that led them to act in a way that they are acting now.
One should NEVER question Afghans presence in Pakistan (like ANP nationalists does), even with their complaints/hatred. Pakistan is a Muslim state, and Afghans are Muslim. And they have every single right in this universe to live in another Muslim country freely.
And we must fight for the eradication of the borders and unification of the two countries under a common umbrella of Islam to form a strong confederation, so when an invader tries an adventure on the borders of Amu Darya, the Ghauri with 1000lb Nuclear Cluster Warhead leaves Islamabad to deal with the threat.
There's no other way to end the misery of the two greatest and most important geopolitical countries on the face of earth, but to unite and form an Islamic confederation against all threats.

I am a bit confused here. Whenever I have utilized the word Pashtunkhwa, I meant generally, the region encompassing Kandahar, Jalalabad (below the Kabul line), Peshawar, FATA. I based this on Ahmad Shah Baba's statement: "zama the shkolaay Pashtunkhwaa dha ghaar saroonaa." For this reason, whenever I discussed medical care in pashtunkhwa, I want readers to know this means that whole swathe of area... not just the KP area. For instance, I consider Kandahar in Pashtunkhwa. I consider modern Afghanistan as containing a part of Pashtunkhwa. Do other folks disagree with this rendering as per Ahmad Shah Abdali Durrani's poetry?"2 crackheads don't become any better or stronger by sharing the same crack pipe." - Greatest PF quote
