Excellent, I admire that. I am sure we could trade reading lists at some point in regard to your views on the early caliphate and modern political systems.

You are prone to the same dogmatism in political thinking as you are to the one in religious concepts. Are you sure, the enlightement, which Talbot mentioned was very deep and extensive still reflecting in the policy of that party if it ever there was any?

LOL. Toramana! You still didn't recognize him very well. He damn cares about infidels as long as they support Punjab. He hates Lenin but has deep liking for the infidel Mao Zedong because of obvious Pakis-Chinese nexus. He supports the fake founders of Pakistan like infidel Ismaili Jinna, infidel Sir Agha khan, another Ismaili and the founder of Muslim League, infidel Sir Zafrullah Qadiani. He also has no problem with the real founders of Pakistan, the infidel British. Pakistan still being a member of the British common Wealth. Though he is a Paki but sees Islam to be in danger only in Afghanistan. And this fortunately fully exposes his real love for Islam.

I suggest you go and listen to the founder of TTP Nek Mohammad Wazir's speech to Geo Tv with his Army friends.

You will get a clear example of how the ISI and Pakistan Army can manipluate their Proxies.
MI6! Have your ever heard of General Tajammul Hussain Malik, a real Islamist who in 1980 made an unsuccessful coup to dethrone and assassinate General Zia and impose Sharia in Pakistan? But these Punjabis are very crooked. Obviously no one from Punjabi Military rose to the support of that real islamist to make that coup a success. Among army officers only his son Naveed and his nephew supported him. As a consequence of that abortive coup he and his son were court martialed and were given life imprisonment. We never saw any support for them among Punjabi masses. Many even have not heard of him. He was a lot better for Pakis than this Dajjal and ignorant Mula Omar is for Afghans . But even he, being an islamist was not acceptible to Pakis.

No one in Pakistan(Punjabistan) likes Islamic Sharia to rule his country. They are just cunning people who are trying to push Afghan society into obscurantism taking the guise of self-proclaimed islamists.

As khyaal is scholar of PF (according to sholambay) so a commoner like me has to believe his claim that barakzaiabdali is a paki and ISI agent.

But roara, we must not ignore the large support amongst Afghans for Punjabi Jihadism? I read some where that in Kunar there are training camps for Punjabi Militants to attack Nato and that locals there welcome these Punjabis with Open arms and feed them.

How can we prevent such people from destroying our nation?

Once again you are naive if you think that there are no Pashtoons fighting the central government and NATO forces. This shows exactly why you cannot achieve your end goals.

Khyaal whines that there was some mystical agreement and that FATA belongs to Afghanistan, but makes an assinine textual argument that the British never truly "ruled" it? Its the equivalent of saying the Americans do not "rule" Iraq. It works on paper, but they will leave when they want and at their own time tables.

Ill discuss your issue with Nek Muhammad later.

my take on this, which wont be detailed because

a- i dont have the time
b- i wont comment on the personal attacks
c- the thread has splintered into various topics

i cant speak for what Barakzais background is, though I am inclined to believe him

I am a non believer of Islam, yet a proud Pakhtun. And for the record, on the face of it, I detest the Taliban and their ideology. I also detest the notion of a Pakistani state and detest the Durand

However, we need to be realistic and pragmatic in our approach to these issues. Reactionary emotional behaviour will do us no good. Surely we have learned SOMETHING from the mistakes of our leaders over the last 2 centuries?

Pakistan and Afghanistan is a reality. Afghanistan is in no position to dictate anything to Pakistan. What Afghanistan needs to do, is shut its mouth on the Durand issue for 20 years. Dont recognize it, but dont discuss it. Maintain the status quo. Focus on rebuilding the country.

When our Pakhtun areas are stabilized, and development occurs and the economy prospers, our education status and business climate improves, which will naturally facilitate greater linkages with the Lar Pakhtuns.

I sincerely believe the Pakistani state will not last another generation, and the time will come one day when Pakhtana will unite but it needs to be natural and fluid. It cant be forced. It certainly wont happen when we;re offering them to give up silk for shiit. And most definitely we cant appeal to a nonsensical illogical Loy Afghanistan paradigm.

Focus on the social and cultural and the political will come

As for the Taliban, I detest their ideology and I detest their subservience to the Pakistanis, but it is the only option we have because it is the only option that guarantees stability and the rule of law. These are basic precepts upon which a state should be built.

It will take 20, 30 years or so, till the Taliban moderate in its world view, and with the effects of the last 10 yrs, and with the concerted effort of the Pakhtun diaspora to go back home, live under the Talibs, suck it up, and work for your people and we as a nation will eventually rise.

Barakzai said it best. You cant force our people. It will naturally come.

The Chinese and Russians underwent mass genocide of its own people to become modernized, industrialized and developing nations. Surely we can put up with a beard and no kites
