  • New high school building inaugurated in Logar Province

Afghan officials, led by provincial governor, Atiqullah Ludin, inaugurated a new high school building in Afghanistan’s eastern province of Logar earlier this week. The school is named after President Hamid Karzai. It has 16 classrooms, 4 administrative rooms, 2 libraries, 2 storage rooms, a teachers room, 10 bathrooms and a surrounding wall. The high school which is spread over half an acre of land is attended by about 1400 students. Funding for the project was provided by the Czech government at a cost of US $278,000. Construction took 10 months.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

No I do not. I am just glad that we have infrastructure being built for our education. Such inaugurations will help improve our literacy rate.

Sangar this is just a school that has been built. Just a school. If your against schools being built that's a different case. However, that's all you see here. Nothing more nothing less. Let's give conspiracy theories a rest for once. I will watch that video when I get a chance.

you are saying that General Petreaus declaring a media war to improve the image of colonization is a conspiracy theory? And are you claiming that the documentary i shared with the forum months ago went pass you yet you have managed to dig up every piece of information promoting the fake "reconstruction of Afghanistan" ???

                    He informed us about this.
                    I ran around.

And you are jumping on the pashtun nationalist bandwagon by accusing me of being against education?

                        Sangar,
It was in the News. I saw it, I decided to share it. Its a school that has been inaugurated not a terrorism cell. Just a school. I happen to be very big on Education hence my post. I want to see the war torn motherland of Pashtuns go through a phase of reconstruction. I get happy when I see my people are employed or educated. Such schools contribute to our literacy rate. My intention was not to *promote* any political stance. All I was merely attempting to do was to enlighten our Afghan members that a new school has been inaugurated. That is all.

I am not employed for the CIA, FBI, Mossad, or ISI.

Well, we all know that most of these messages celebrating new schools and hospitals are either fake or blown out of proportions.

And the documentary exposes the truth. So you must accept the fact that there is a very high probability that the school you are being happy about might not even exist. or might be just a building that is going to fall apart within months because of the scheme these NGO's pull on us.
