Points for optimism, despite my belief that some of this you say just to make yourself feel better.

Most adventure tourists who want the hustle-bustle of South Asia, the food, colours, culture, sightseeing and history would choose India over Pakistan.

Probably do not know that there are underground parties where you get alcohol etc Do not know that the best foreign goods you get in Shams. The best Haircuts by Tariq Ameen or Michael. etc etc

Too much Pessimist when it comes to Pakistan. Remember the guy Mohannad Andulisian here on this vary same forum, he visited Pakistan twice. Want pics? And yes he didn't have family ties here neither was he a terrorist.

I have seen more white people in Karachi than any other city in Pakistan. Your generalization is wrong.

6.8Million tourists visited india last year(Initially i thought india get tourists in excess of 100Million)

So with all this terrorism,Even 1Million is not a bad number for Pakistan

the revenue must be in excess of 1.5Billion dollars now

The latest value for International tourism, receipts (current US$) in Pakistan was $998,000,000 as of 2010. Over the past 15 years, the value for this indicator has fluctuated between $998,000,000 in 2010 and $492,000,000 in 1999.

Definition: International tourism receipts are expenditures by international inbound visitors, including payments to national carriers for international transport. These receipts include any other prepayment made for goods or services received in the destination country. They also may include receipts from same-day visitors, except when these are important enough to justify separate classification. For some countries they do not include receipts for passenger transport items. Data are in current U.S. dollars.

Source: World Tourism Organization, Yearbook of Tourism Statistics, Compendium of Tourism Statistics and data files.
