      Correction.

First they said that PTI can not block NATO supplies

then, they said that PTI can only do it for a few days

Then they said that US/NATO does not need Pakistan NATO supply route through KP

Now, suddenly they pretend to cry for Afghan traders (who by the way are not effected by NATO supply blockage, trade is ongoing as long as it got nothing to do with NATO)

Now, they say PTI and Imran Khan are evil for blocking NATO supplies.

They said that US/NATO doesnt need KP supply line, and have Northern Distribution Network.

Then they cried when they realized it costs 7 times more and runs into the billions, billions of dollars on a credit line

Now they say Imran Khan is a bad man for stopping NATO supplies and being against war.

these paki morons thinks it will stop drones, Imran khan is drowning pashtunkhwah and pashtuns. this panjabi has his own goals. when the drones started? where was he back then when the drone hit pashtunkhwah for the first time? the US have other ways as well and pretty an afghan major railway will be open.

fghan government commissions east - west rail study
            11 Dec 2013
The proposed lines would link to the existing 75 km line from Hairatan to Mazar-i-Sharif.

AFGHANISTAN: The Ministry of Public Works has commissioned a feasibility study for a proposed 300 km east - west railway across northern Afghanistan.

The C$3·7m contract announced on December 11 has been awarded to Systra's Canadian freight railway consultancy Canarail and its partner Appleton Consulting Inc, which specialises in programme management for projects in Afghanistan.

The study is to get underway in February for completion within 12 months. Funding is being provided by the Asian Development Bank, building on the conclusions of its Railway Development Study.

Two routes are proposed, extending the 75 km long 1 520 mm gauge line from Hairatan on the Uzbek border to Mazar-i-Sharif which opened to commercial freight traffic in early 2012.

One route would run around 225 km west through Sheberghan and Andkhvoy to Aqina. This would link to a planned cross-border extension of Turkmenistan's rail network which is being developed with the support of that country. The second route would run around 50 km northeast from the existing Mazar-i-Sharif line to the border with Tajikistan.

'Under this study, we have to provide justification and make recommendations as to the gauge to be adopted for development of the railway network in the country', Canarail told Railway Gazette International. 'Consideration will be given to the gauge in operation in other countries in the region to facilitate unhindered movement of goods and passengers across the borders.'

Canarail said that if the lines prove to be feasible they would foster cross-border and regional trade, increase rail usage, ensure the viability of the initial railway investment, and introduce competition in rail operations.

'Afghanistan has a vast potential for developing the mineral extraction sector, which may be an engine of self-sustaining economic growth in the near future', said Canarail President & CEO Miguel Valero.

this project has started in 2011. pretty closed to be completed. are pakies happy with that? did the drones stopped? the pan jab is punishing pashtun again by stoping their businesses.

We are happy if Afghanistan is developing.Though the link you have Posted mention a deal of just 3.7million dollars.Which are peanuts

I know Afghanistan can get supply through iran and is already getting but through iran your traders will have to pay more since iran doesnt beleive in Muslim Ummah concept and always look for its interest unlike our Islami thekedari govt.Iran oppse the UN convention of giving land access to any landlacked neighbour upto sea without charging(Not the less 90PKR on torkham or the usuall Toll plaza tax) While Pakistan Agree to the UN convention

Hence through iran if the cost per any item is 500 Rupees than through Pakistan it will be less than half of this.TAke this as example

anyway your link mention Tajikistan while in reality Tajikistan has already invested 22million dollars into extending the road route on Pakistan side with express highway upto chitral(The road from Hasanabdal to Abbottabd is 100% funded by them aswell)they also had just recently completed work on their side of road.

Hopeful by 2015 Tajikistan aswell as the other central asian states will be using Pakistan for trade route.

So you may use Tajikistan for trade but Tajikistan is working On to get access to warm water through Pakistan. And iran is not going to offer you a cheaper route.

Obviously, Da Bannu Makham has poor knowledge of geography and doesn't know that Wakhan corridor (of Afghanistan) lays in the way and that constructing a high-way through the roof of the world will be an uphill task.

The railway as for as i know will be through kashgar and Tajikistan.and Kashgar of china will be connected with Khunjerab of Pakistan in future.

For more detail google about Khunjerab railway project

Beside this I just recently came to know Tajikistan already has started trade route through Pakistan but is limited.

1-This is khunjerab(Google about it where it is in map and you will than only get to know this even better)

You see the Sign board in Tajik language?aswell as in Chinese

                        2-This is Khunjerab railway Project

Khunjerab Railway - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tajikistan will directly connect it with kashgar railway which is less than 50km from its border

3-As you as you step on the Hasan Abdal road upto Abbottabad,You will see a sign board in again chinese and tajik language(russian style)..I had pics of the sign board long back but they are in my desktop pc back home

4-Their is yet another sign board picture i have seen most probably from shangla

You see all these sign board in tajik language aswell because they have now significantly funded the karakoram highway.Karakoram highway today is just used for trade route to only china and than tajikistan but some other central asian states has also shown interest in the route.
And this is also so that the Goods transporter to tajikistan also can understant this language

And now this is from tajikistan as how it is connected to the China aka close to the kashgar

                        A differnet pic of Khunjerab

Another pic as how the karakoram is further expanded into china and connceted with tajikistan through a national highway.

NOTE:Railway project is for the future and may be available only after 2020-25

Wakhan corridor should be bipassed because in winter it is usually really tough to go through all these high mountains

China is a friendly state and just passing probably about 50km within China's territory we can reach Tajikistan border.

                          1-The route is more safe
2-Karakoram highway already exist upto kashgar
3-The route can be used for most of the year

have a look at the pic.The karakoram highway already pass extremely close to the border

any.the trade is already On through Pakistan though limited.and certainly there are no reason to use Tajik language on Pakistani sign board leading toward china.

gwadar Link: the like you have posted.
As a part of its development plan for its transport and communications network, Pakistan Railways has completed a feasibility study of the Chaman-Kandahar section for laying railway tracks between Pakistan and Turkmenistan through Afghanistan. The feasibility study for cost, engineering and design for the construction of a rail link from Gwadar to the existing rail network in Mastung district in Balochistan has also been finalized. The new link to Gwadar port will open up underdeveloped areas of Balochistan for development. The main aim of the venture is to connect the Central Asian republics with Pakistan Railways' network through Afghanistan.
China is going to be the beneficiary of Gwadar's most accessible international trade routes to the Central Asian republics and Xinjiang. By extending its East-West Railway from the Chinese border city of Kashi to Peshawar in Pakistan's northwest, Beijing can receive cargo to and from Gwadar along the shortest route, from Karachi to Peshawar. The rail network could also be used to supply oil from the Persian Gulf to Xinjiang. Pakistan's internal rail network can also provide China with rail access to Iran.
