    1,000 disabled to undergo
    vocational training

KABUL (PAN): As many as 1,000 disabled people, including women, would
be provided with vocational training in four provinces of Afghanistan, an
    official said on Sunday.

The training will be held in Nangarhar, Herat and Kandahar provinces,
Minister of Labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disables Amina Afzali told
reporters after signing a project agreement with two Afghan companies.

The project, to be completed in eight months, envisages training in
tailoring, carpet-weaving, growing vegetables, poultry farming, embroidery,
food processing, healthcare and beauty parlour.

She said the project would be implemented at a cost of 21 million afghanis
($433,258), with each province getting seven million afghanis for training
    330 disabled people.

Annually, the ministry will provide job opportunities or 15,000 eligible
special people, who undergo similar trainings.

Meanwhile, Ministry of Water and Energy officials said two water
management projects, which would irrigate about 15,000 hectares of
farmland, would be implemented in the northern provinces of Balkh and
    Jawzjan.

The projects included improvement of seven canals and construction of
new bridges in nine districts of the two provinces, said the acting water
and energy minister, Mohammad Ismail Khan, after signing an agreement
with a Tajik company known as LLC Sivar.

He said the projects, which would be implemented in two years at a cost
of $7.3, would benefit 73,000 families in 279 villages and provide job
    opportunities to 33,000 people.

To advise others is an easy matter, the difficulty is accepting advice -- since it is bitter for those who follow their

This is excellent news, the enpowerment of our vulnerables, is a great step towards overall progression as a whole.

We as Pashtuns must never neglect anyone, and provide the means for our less fortunate ones to contribute to society.

they will do nothing , i know this people more than enough . they are just chasing after dollars .

i know about ngo by myself , which offerd "it-training " they let sit down the class for one hour infront of the pc and let them browsed the internet .
      12 weeks .

no theoretical teaching ,no programming or excel .

the course was intendet to train higher ranking mamoureen /civil servants.
so the people were not illiterate or just from the street.

the people dont need any khairat , but jobs .

instead doing such nonsence they should stop taking money from the iranians , to let everything of their garbage pass by our borders , and strength our economy encouraging people start mamela , and not blow up manufactories ,which were build by afghans ,financed by afghans and runned by afghans ,for the sake of some 300 spartan xerxes .
