people from heraat are said to be very friendly. yes their dari is slightly similar to irani farsi due to the border that they share with iraan. there is no need for anyone to be paranoid, insecure or ashamed of that... this restaurant has been around for a while. in kabul restaurants have different sections for the ladies but it's not a comfortable situation to be in unless you have a male member of the family with you.
