I found the heratis the most educated,progressive and soft people in afghanistan.They have very rich culture and history.Ismail khan turned it to his imarat but still people move on and struggle for their daily life.
The Herati food the best in afghanistan.Also they speak the soft farsi close to iranain farsi.Nice people and place.These herati women open this restaurant for women only.Poor women can not eat freely in most parts of afghanistan and pashtunkhwa.This is a good example.

Happy for these Herati women....a place where they can sit comfortably with other women and children. Inshallah, Kabul shall follow this step. Wait, actually I've been to restaurants where only women are allowed in the second floor; however, you have to pass the men in the first floor to go up the stairs :/ its not comfortable at all.....the men watch you until you go up the stairs.

I've been to AFC a very well known restaurant for 'khariji' food in Wazir Akbar Khan, Kabul. The last 2-3 floors are for women and families, but all the young single men are on the first floor, it was embarrassing to have to go through all of them.

I was there few time for the wedding of my Quetawal friend and found the people very nice and progressive.The food is amazing.
If afghanistan get peace i am sure these people will lead afghanistan.
They love education more then anyone in afghanistan.
Also they are not suffering from ,,wahabism,,like many pashtun do in afghanistan and some in pashtunkhwa.
Ismail khan may be a warlord but he built Herat too.
The roads,hospital etc are better compare to some other cities of afghanistan.
