i respect your emotions and i will be first to cheer if there was actually something good happening in Afghanistan.if you think a couple of buildings and roads will help afghans than you are either naive or dont know the groun realities.
the roads are made to expand the occuaption across the country and get the much needed resources to the invaders bases.
and what are trying to say here that even though people are dying still there is progress happening?
most Afghans cant afford to use those roads or buy in those kabul Malls or other fancy buildings we are talking about.
and dont forget the money coming for these construction projects come from the invading forces.so you are saying that you are agianst the invasion yet happy when they build you a building?
if some rich Afghans invest and build these buildings than its different and it means siomething but of foreign invaders are paying for it than it is payment for their invaion of hte country.
btw the money paid by Foreign invaders is earned fromt he invaion itself.

do u realize that that most foreign money is wasted in the pockets of contractors and politicians? have u been to kabul or any of these other cities? most construction is funded by afghans from pakistan, iran, and america. the only government construction programs are roads and government buildings.

and what do u mean when u say afghans cant afford to use roads? what does that even mean? in order for a country to work as a nation, it has to be interconnected, hence roads from city to city. there are thousands of afghans who travel on these roads everyday, if these roads were not there than there would be no national economy.

A lot of reconstruction has happened everything said by Randolh is true.
it doesn't mean we support Americans.

Alot?compared to when or what?
offcourse they wil have to build you something for destroying the whole country.if you do the math this reconstruction is not even a percent of what Afghans have to pay for it.
