    GREAT IDEA,count me in
i personally think its better to be independent but have good relationship with such afghan community organisations.last thing you want to do is have this politicised or derailed by ethnic "tensions".
being independent is realy hard though and having the support of an already establish group helps a lot and agreed ethnic tensions in such areas are not good and we are trying to resolve the matter.

As much as I hate to say this, it is my advice to you to only be exclusivley Pashtun in terms of where the money will go. I don't like division, but if these people only want to help their own, then we are also left with no choice.

Speak with them, and explain that the Pashtuns are being effected the most. Unity between all ethnics is the best, but explain to them that people are starving. Just a side note, maybe you should invest some of the funds you raised in Facebook stock by Goldman when it opens? Once you feel you can sell it, there will be more money I am sure that will be made. All this will go to Afghanistan. You and all others can use these skills that you have in business.

        Allah pa amman.

        And long live the Afghanistan
no i totaly agree with you as most of the money to start the fund will be mine i would like it to go help the pashtuns first as i do put my people before others. my friend is fierce and can negotiate very well so i am hoping we can reach something where help will get to south at the start and then slowly all over afghanistan. and defiantly wrora atleast 20-30 percent of my money i wish to put forward to help out Afghanistan. khudai merabana dey wubagoru chi, chi she wusey pa dgha meeting ki.

dera manana wrora, i wish to get myself onto the leadership of this group becouse they have meetings with high people like i think yesterdai an interview with the forreign or education minister so they have links etc and could easily help, but you have to have some sort of skills etc to get onto the leadership and i lack in english writing skills etc so i doubt i can get on but i am trying to so then it will be easier to put my points across.

I am going to Afghanistan in the near future Insha Allah..

I personally love Helmandian and Kandaharian too even though I am from central Afghanistan. They would be the first and main people I turn towards to help in Afghanistan as they have been through the worst and are marginalized by the government and NGO's. Pakhtuns in general are marginalized and neglected.

Yeah that is the reason why NGO's rarely operate in the greater Kandahar region becasue of a lack of security. Places like Kunar, are also heavily affected by the war, and Kunarian especially need aid because they don't have good soil for tilling; its purely mountainous territory so there means of subsistence is hampered.
