Educate me: Why is cricket fun?

[archetype]

no it aint fun

[asif86]

I never played cricket and dont even know the rules.

I did play baseball and I like it allot.

I believe cricket is extremely boring and a waste of precious time.

I believe there is no fun in playing cricket. Those who like it lack imagination.

Am I wrong?

How can you say its boring when you know nothing of the game of cricket. You I believe are afghan Tajik.Cricket was never played in Afghanistan, the afghan cricketers are mostly Pashtun who learned the game in peshawer.

[Kushan Prince]

Cricket is boring and stupid and its not even popular among village kids.

Real Pashtuns play football (soccer) not wannabe baseball.

I think the reason why I cant develop any interest in cricket is because I grew up playing basketball. Compared to basketball, cricket is almost static.

Cricket is for smart people and its a really fun and interesting sports.

[Cobra]

Cricket is an interesting and strategic game.
