Actually, Americans are the most stupid people of the entire Western civilization. But the common Americans are not the inventors and scientists. The inventors and scientists are a very small elite.

And most American scientists and inventors are by origin from other parts of the world who moved to America for better payment.

America has the best institutions in the world. How about you read this list so you can learn more about American inventions. The reason we are on the internet is because of Americans. The reason you flied to Holland is because of Americans. The reason you have a cell phone is because of Americans. The reason you love the Iphone is because of Americans. The reason you love Google,Yahoo is because of Americans, The reason you love motorcycles,cars, is because of Americans.

Shlombayya. Nobody is gonna read that. As Sangar said, scientists are an elite in the US and you will agree with that. The Ivy-League is great, that doesn't make the American population smart. Who goes to the Ivy-League? At MOST some 10% of the population, what's with the rest of the population?

IQ estimate of the average US-American is 98. IQ estimate of a German is 102.

And it's not even about that. I went to school in Germany and when I came to the US I learned what I learned in 10th grade in Germany in 12th grade in the US. I told people I came from Germany, they thought Germany is next to Louisiana. And they thought Afghanistan is next to Germany. They asked me if they have refrigerators in Germany. They thought China is in the Middle East.

My French teacher in high school couldn't even speak French without the thickest American accent ever. When I told him I'm Afghan, he as a LINGUIST - someone who went to university for at least 6 years to study languages - asked me "Oh yeah, what language do they speak over there again, Muslim?!"

And if you go by the theory that I speak German and hence must be German.. I speak French, Spanish, Pashto, Farsi and Japanese as well.

You can't judge a populations intelligence based on the universities in the country that nobody can even get into or afford. Ivy League is great, but what percentage of the population goes there? Compared to Europe, where higher education is virtually free and not so selectively offered.

You go to Colombia and that's great. But you have to also realize that not everyone goes to Colombia or has even a chance to be in such an intellectually elevated environment like you. Step out of that academic environment and you will see how beautiful and great the education you've been provided with is mashAllah; but you'll always see how BLESSED you are to even have that because in America, it is a privilege to have an Ivy-League education.. or to even have a university-level-education. Look around, many people in America can't even speak English correctly. Step out of that intellectually elevated environment and realize that YOU are part of a small elite - just because you are part of it, doesn't mean that that represents the whole of American population.

Anyone who compares Leiden, Oxford and those Universities to American need to reconsider there posts. There is a reason Germany had to face the treaty of Versailes, not the Americans.

In Holland the dutch will frown at you if you wear Kamos partog, here in New York the Kandaharis build a mosque like every few years and we all walk around in kamos partog in our neighborhoods.

Students in Europe get paid, too. But the difference is that they don't get out of university with hundrets of thousands of dollars of loans to pay back. And Ivy league.. it is not an option for most of the population.
You are very biased and this is one UGLY product of the American system. It makes you live in a bubble. All the people in Europe have grown up to be critical against all - foreign countries and their own; they are able to look at their own country and point out flaws.. whereas MANY Americans are just obnoxiously obsessed with their country, unable to see any flaws, so full of themselves thinking their country is AMAZINGLY intelligent, superior, great etc. It seriously isn't.
And about the mosques. There were over a dozen of mosques in the city I lived in in Germany.. I saw more Hijabis in that one city than in all of America combined. =)

I supported Holland all the way through from the time the World Cup began.

Spain didnt deserve to win, Holland did. Spain had it all easy for them beating children and naive teams, whereas Holland had a 100% record, even beat Brazil.

In the final the last goal by Spain was clearly off side, and they were acting all the time to get free kicks and benefits from the referee.

I say, the hell with Spain, they dont even deserve 4th place.
