See that's why I like working in my parent's family business. You are your own boss. Any other employees are subservient to you so they don't cause problems like that. The only disagreement you may possibly get is from your parents (which is rare) and what they say is always justified so that's alright.

I have seen many families and their businesses come and go.

Its best to be your own man, but you may disagree as those are not your views.

          • I agree that being self-employed is best because of the freedom you get to run things how you want.

The down-side is all the extra responsibility and extra hard work you have to put in to get anything out.

Sahil is self-employed as well as being an employee as well as being a student lol. Busy man.

Work (and life) is best when you do what you want and how/when you wan to do it, if you even do.

I applied for a job today but I probably won't get it since I have no "experience" or qualifications in that particular field. Little do they know I have more experience and knowledge than their forefathers combined, it just isn't valid here becuase its not in the form of grades based on schoolwork, its life as experienced by man.

I just wish the Jobseekers Allowance doubles itself so I get an extra £100 each time.

              • I see that there are many brothers living in London. How is the city?

I know that it's the center of Arabs outside of the Arab world (especially for the media that is critical of the current puppet regimes and dictators).

I also heard that there are many Iraqi's and Saudi's especially. Not sure if it's true.

I was also told by a friend of mind that many of the people living there are not the best examples for Arabs.

Of course you will have more Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis in London but have the Arabs left their mark at all?

Its a big, big city. So big that I have never even been to or heard of where Haris or Sahil are from in the West.

There are many Iraqis in my hood, which is where the Home Office is so all immigrants come here at some point. Most are Kurdish and they have take away Iraqi restaurants/sheesha bars in the hood. There also many Iranians and Afghans and obviously Pakis and Indians are in every corner of the UK.

Edgewere Road in Central London is full of rich Arabs.

I went there with a long time female companion once. £8 for a cup of tea in some Arabic place and it was Lipton which I could have had for free at home.

Another place on the same road had sheesha for £40 when it is generally around £15.

Edgeware Road is where all the Arabs are. There is also a big Arab community in Ealing, West London, lot's of restaurants, shops etc. Arabs (particularly Saudis) have a strong presence in the upper class property & hotel markert in Central London.

There are lots of Arabs in London, one of my best friends was from Lebanon. Though they do not live in all the areas in great number as many other ethnicities do.

As you said, they are not as much as the South Asians or Blacks.
I would say there are many more Iraqis than Saudis, especially in recent times.

Yeah we live in the fringes of the city in the outer boroughs of Greater London, far away from everyone's typical image of London they have in their minds which is usually just Central London or 'The City'.

London is so big that my address doesn't even have 'London' in it but instead has 'Middlesex' because before, London didn't cover the area that i'm in.

I live in Harrow now, still West London.

                      • Last night went to the Shanzelize street saw a huge number of Arabs. Almost all the hotels and shops are owned by them. Elite Arabs.

                        • what is the political and social influence of muslims in london and britain in general? from videos, i have seen entire neighborhoods that are muslim dominated and run, not to mention the vocal anti uk sentiment of many of these people. i am thinking that either these communities are backed by some muscle or that the uk just caters to muslims there?
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
