            • I told you guys yesterday. In soccer, the Germans have never beaten Italy when it matters. Italy is on a whole different level Viva la Italia.
Next stop Spain. Spain will win this.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

                  • Germany are a very solid team. Dissapointed in their defensive weaknesses today. Should have done better.

                    Hope Italy win the final.

And how long are you in Oman for?

I can't stand this heat. Almost 30 degrees today. It makes everything you do that little bit more sluggish, not to mention the headaches. Would never willingly move to the middle-east.

Its a soup made from the nest of swallows (Ababil in the Qur`an). Didn't taste like anything, I would rather have had the shark's fin one again.

Insha`Allah I will return to the hood on the 5th of July.

It's easily 50+ degrees here at any given time and I wouldn't live here either.

Italy won and they deserved it.

But if Germany had that 1% luck (scoring instead of Pirlos handball in minute 5, scoring instead of hitting the crossbar) und scoring several times when they missed, the game would have been different.

Germany is lacking luck and Italy had that luck on their side today.
Balotellis second goal would have went into sky on a normal day.

                            Whatever.
I am sad and heart broken haha.

(PS: Spain is not out of reach to the best teams out there. Portugal taught them a good lesson and although Portugal was the better team, they lost. Germany had beaten Portugal ;-) )

True, true. Germany did have some fantastic shots, that's undeniable.
