When I used to live in the UK, the only person you could not criticize was the Queen, and she rarely ever made her opinions known (she is a figure head). I guess in Holland, they have the same rule. The verse prescribes fighting, not violence. What's the difference? You can fight violently or you can choose to fight non-violently. What is important is the result that either of the two choices can produce. Now the Prophet Mohammad knew that if he was to fight violently while in Mecca, even though according to you he promised to kill his enemies (which he didn't do till he had the strength and means while in Mecca), the repercussions to his handful of followers will be great. So he choose to fight non-violently, till badr. You see he was a very good statesman, strategist, and a diplomat. All the qualities modern day gungo cyber-jahidis or their brethren on the ground lack. Puppets whose strings can be easily pulled by pushing on their nerves.

That was the whole purpose of Bacha Khan non-violently struggle. He knew that the British were strong, that even after the 3 wars Afghans fought them, the British were successful in dividing the empire of Afghanistan in two, rendering it into an ineffective state instead of the mighty empire it once was. While at the same time took majority of the ethnic Afghans i.e. Pukhtoons with them and subjugated them for decades. It was futile to fight the British violently when militarily a victory over them was not plausible. Militarily Muslims have lost every major war that they have fought ever since World War 1. Look at the situation of Palestinains, the more they fight, the more land they loose. One attack on America resulted in the occupation of 2 Muslim countries, millions dead. Afghanistan, Kashmir, Iraq, and it goes on.....

Reason? Muslim don't have the violent power to match the violent technology of non-Muslims. There is no way, that using violence you can win against "kaafirs". Rather every time you take a violent step, it becomes the very excuse that non-Muslims use against you, and in return violently blow you to oblivion. But unfortunately, to understand that, it requires brains and not brawns. Funny thing is that, to fight violently, Muslims are dependent on "kaafir" technology.

And that is why Baacha Khan decided to go the non-violent way. He knew what the last 3 violent wars produced. He wasn't going to risk more.

The word Qital means violence. It doesn't mean hunger strike and immitating Hindus like Bacha Khan did.

First of all, Bacha Khan was educated by the British. He did not have any qualification in Islamic jurisprudence. Therefore he was not in position to make ijtihad and claim that non-violent opposition is the solution.

It is the ijma of all 4 main schools of jurisprudence that when Muslim land under any circumstances is attacked by non-Muslims, defending the territory becomes obligatory upon Muslims like the 5 daily prayers.

Based on this ruling the Hanafi scholars of Afghanistan and the subcontinent derived the ruling regarding the British agression against them.


And for this reason, Mullah Hamzullah Akhund, Mullah Pawinda Akhund, Mullah Mirza Ali, Wazir Akbar khan and many other tribal and religious leaders declared jihad and faught the British.

Who is Bacha Khan to issue his own ruling regarding the British? He was educated by the British. Only thing he knew was Western concept of Nationalism and secularism. The reason why he called his movement de khudai khidmatgaran was because he wanted to counter the religious groups who critisized his secular movement who was immitating hindus.

How is it possible that Pacha Khan was such a scholar of Islam, and yet his legacy is the most vile and dispicable secularist movement in our history (ANP)????

Why should I do dawah in saudi? There are thousands of scholars who are doing dawah to saudis. But to no avail.

Since major scholars like Naasirudin Al Albani have failed to bring Saudis back to Islam, I should be much more modest than that. I rather do dawah to people I can actually talk to.

Bacha Khan didn't start a religious movement, he started a movement that struggled for the freedom of his people utilizing his faith. He didn't need anyone permission to do so, just like you don't need anyones permission to defend what ever it is that you believe in.
