non-violence is un-Islamic. Because violence is prescribed to Muslims by ALlah to defend themselves against the enemies.
Allah says in surah al baqara 216. Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not.[SIZE="4"][B][CENTER][URL="www.quranawsunnat.com"]www.quranawsunnat.com

Study the mekkan era. He threatened to kill all of the mushrikeen who were opposing him. And in the Battle of Badr he fullfilled his promise.[SIZE="4"][B][CENTER][URL="www.quranawsunnat.com"]www.quranawsunnat.com

You need some serious and I would say some really serious teacher about Islam my dear.
Until there was the Hukam of Jihad there was only one order from Allah (swt) and His Prophet PBUH and that was patience and patience. What they did when Hazrat Abu Bakr RA and the Prophet PBUH were beaten by Kuffar, and yes he (saw) killed them in the battle of Badr, but Badr comes during the time of Madina
Regards!!yao warokay ghwandi baagh ao pa khwa ye seen rawan!

Honey, I do have a teacher.Originally posted by Shehbaz Khan View PostYou need some serious and I would say some really serious teacher about Islam my dear.

Go ask your teacher, when the polytheists rediculed the prophet muhammad saww and tried to attack him in Mekkah, didn't he make them a promise to kill them or not?
If you have overlooked this, then obviously you are misguided.
It is true that the hukm of Jihad came later. But the hukm of jihad was revealed afterwards. And it is therefore applicable for those who defend themselves against agressors. And this is exactly what Muslims have done against the British empire.
Only a few ignorant people who tried to change the religion and immitate hindus like Khan ABdul Ghafar Khan went around saying we are not going to do any fighting. This obviously that what Allah subhana wa ta3ala was talking about in Surah al Baqara as I have mentioned it before.[SIZE="4"][B][CENTER][URL="www.quranawsunnat.com"]www.quranawsunnat.com

Non-violence is the soul and heart of Islam.
Salafism is a rejuvenated version of the Old-Testament era Judea. Of course Sangar and his like-minded people don't believe in non-violence - that's because they believe in violence! Look what Salafis are doing all around the world. They kill just as many Muslims as the sons of Bush and Ariel Sharon. Salafis are the most repressive, reactionary and unislamic people in the world.
Mohammad was sent as a mercy but the word compassion doesn't exist in the Salafi's dictionary. Don't take my word for it, just see what they've been doing in the world since in 18th century.
The problem is that these fanatics don't understand nonviolence. Nonviolence does not mean that you let someone invade your country or that you let a thief inside your house. Self-defense is allowed in nonviolence but to an extent. There is no contradiction between the nonviolence Bachaa Khan practiced and preached throughout his life and the concept of nonviolence in Islam. If someone doesn't know what nonviolence is, it's their fault for being ignorant but as far as modern Salafism is concerned, you can even kill innocent Muslims for the "greater good" (which could include bomb-attacks aimed at overthrowing tyrannical Arab regimes) so their perspective on peace should be considered suspect at best.
Do not commit treachery or deviate from the right path. You
must not mutilate dead bodies. Neither kill a child, nor a woman,
nor an aged man. Bring no harm to the trees, nor burn them with
fire, especially those which are fruitful. Slay not any of the
enemy’s flock, save for your food. You are likely to pass by
people who have devoted their lives to monastic services, leave
them alone. - Abu Bakr
The day of Mohammad’s greatest triumph over his enemies was
also the day of grandest victory over himself. He freely forgave
Quaraysh all the years of sorrow and cruel scorn with which they
had afflicted him and gave an amnesty to the whole population of
Mecca. Four criminals whom justice condemned made up
Mohammad’s proscription list, when as a conqueror he entered
the city of his bitterest enemies. The army followed his example,
and entered quietly and peaceably; no house was robbed, no
woman insulted. - Stanley Lane-Poole
Compare this to what Al-Qaeda and Taliban do. And these hate-mongers are all supporters of the Taliban and Al-Qaeda. They don't know anything about love, Islam or nonviolence. They are so full of hate, you can sense it in every post they make.Last edited by Levanaye Zalmaye; 11-20-2010, 02:51 PM."If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be".

Oh my! ... Violence is prescribed to Muslims? ....Originally posted by شمله ور خراساني View Postnon-violence is un-Islamic. Because violence is prescribed to Muslims by ALlah to defend themselves against the enemies.

I do not understand your interpretation in connection to that quote - fighting for what you believe in or standing up to defend your home is not the same as violence ... violence and terror is not prescribed for muslims ... as far as i understand it.
.... but then again who am i to tell you, make up your own judgement .... True muslims (in my opinion) who work on their Deen are quiet, calm, caring, people, not push overs, but firm in their belief. The loud mouth ones, screaming terror and violence all over the place do not represent those true muslims. (IMHO)

The reason you do so much research and find so much stuff about your religion is that once you doubted it. You didn't find sufficient evidence in the "absolute truths" of your religion and you left it. You discarded it for the sake of another greater truth. But then there was a lapse of judgment and you were sucked in again (by the emotional appeal more than anything else I would say).Originally posted by شمله ور خراساني View PostLOL, how do you know? Therefore, you're not too different from me except that my common sense prevailed and I remained steadfast on the path of rationalism. If being different from a Salafi clerical hate-monger (who abhors basically everything but strangely enough, wants all of it ten-folds in heaven) means being an apostate, I'm glad to be one.
I see the Islam practiced by the majority of Muslims around the world, who are decent and peaceful people. Then I read the hateful stuff that comes out of you and the rest of your kind. How do you live with so much hate is what I want to know. In this world, there are forces that are actively fighting for the sake of humankind (Bachaa Khan's nonviolence is one of them) and then there are the enemies of humanity - Zionists, Salafis, profit-hungry corporations, rapists, etc."If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be".

LOL, who said that you are rational. We have established in an earlier discussion that the reason why you apostated is because you love promiscuity fornication and alcohol consumption.
The fact that I am eager to learn my religion is not because I doubt it. In fact, the more I learn the stronger my conviction.[SIZE="4"][B][CENTER][URL="www.quranawsunnat.com"]www.quranawsunnat.com
