        I really like the phrase, especially from the elders:

        'Walaa bad aal di'.

        It can be used in such a variety of ways that it makes it hilarious. If you guys don't know what I'm talking about, it's okay, it's probably just funny amongst our friends.
        The Beloved Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, so beautifully advised his nation when he said:

        “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day let him speak good or remain silent.” [Bukhari and Muslim]

            I am not sure if this is the right spelling, but it is the one word I never forgot...."Uga" I hope it is Pushtu? It should mean "garlic".

              ghbarg=twin.

              shlanda planda = refered to someone who is chubby. like gol matol.

              mazdigar = evening

              marrwand = wrist

              tsangal = elbow

              i have many favorites... the most favorite of mine are the pure pashto words... can't get enough of saying them... i will think of other words too.

                      "If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be".

                      "Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives".

                          "keena mara"

                          or

                          "keena Sariya"

                          I say it whenever someone thinks they have a good idea. It's a nice put down.
