Our member Shayesta is now married
Shayesta, that is music to my ears! MashaAllah! I pray for you a very successful life, of happiness, of continuous smiles, of no obstacles, of trust and understanding. And the main ingredient, of love so pure, like never before. I am very happy for you Dearest. -
^ Thanks a lot Grane! I can't tell how lucky I consider myself with such a graceful, respecting and warm in-laws! I was always worried about the fact that they are non-Pukhtoons and they might force me to speak Dari with them and my future kids, but the hospitality I got from them and love I got from them removed all my worries and fears! They are very respecting of my language and they all choose themselves to speak Pukhto with me instead and said that they only need my happiness, not some language called Dari or Pukhto. I can't tell how much I miss everything and everyone back home! Thanks again for your warm wishes dear.

Your happiness is ours. That is so good to hear. Every girl wishes for another to go to an accepting and loving home. As every girl knows the pain of leaving behind the child like and carefree days of our fathers' home. Moving into a new sphere, new people, new environment, new expectations, and more responsibilities. Good women will go into things with a big heart, take it as an honour, and fulfil each one passionately, and they are successful. We all worry, but it is only natural. At the end of the day, we can change a lot, for the good, and the worse. Allah be your Guide and Protector always.
You don't need to thank me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
